Great service from the LCA team and amazing prices as well. We've had our fireplace capped and removed and it was on the dot with price and genuinely great service. It was on the way to a 5 star review, but it was just a bit of a shame at the end. To start off, the work itself was generally good, some gaps here and there, slightly unpolished finished. The lads were polite and gave a very good impression. However when the job was nearly completed I was told paint was not quoted, despite I made it quite clear I wanted paint as the original were tiles and I even mentioned I wanted it to be water proof. So instead of asking what I wanted, they just left it as bare plaster. To me, this was a lose lose situation. Even if it wasn't quoted, no one asked what the intention was for the walls and ceiling, and they just decided to leave the job as it is. Also found out during the process the boilers water pressure valve was broken, which they fixed, but had I not asked them about it, it may never have gotten fixed. Finally they delayed the start and completion date.
