“Alex Winters (Libtek) did a great job of installing a 5kW Vaillant Arothem+ heat pump at my house in St Albans. He is clearly an enthusiast for his work, and has a lot of expertise in the complex field of heat pumps. He went above and beyond to leave us with a tidy, efficient install. I'm delighted with the result. I would recommend him to anyone looking to install a heat pump.”

Highlights
“Alex and Chris of Libtek Ltd. Replaced our gas combi boiler with a Valliant heat pump and a Sunamp heat battery (instead of a hot water tank). I have encountered many contractors over the last 17 years of property ownership and numerous projects. I can say with conviction that this team is up there with the best. Excellent communication throughout, stuck to the schedule and the quote, dealt with any unusual challenge (like mounting both units at first floor level) and even helped to sort out some small issues with the various Apps at the end of it all. I can thoroughly recommend Libtek Ltd.!”
“We found Libtek via Heat Geek. After a detailed heat loss survey, Alex and his team installed a Vaillant Arotherm air source heat pump (ASHP) system in December 2023 with a bespoke Newark cylinder and Level 3 heat pump monitoring bundle from OpenEnergyMonitor. The system has been performing brilliantly, regularly achieving COPs of 4/5. We would have no hesitation in recommending Alex/Libtek.”
