Matty came on time and has a very friendly demeanor, he told me the best options of boiler I would require and what he recommended and left it for me to decide and wasn't pressured. I have used him in a number of occasions now not only for servicing but help with fix my old boiler. He always takes time to explain what he need to do and what he has done,in a way that I can understand If he did know how to fix it he would always find out. He is very knowledgeable and takes great pride in his work.

Fantastic all around. I was worried with it being so close to Christmas that I wouldn’t not be able to get my heating and hot water fixed but Matthew was here within an hour and had it sorted quickly! He goes above and beyond to ensure the work is completed in a timely manner, and is carried out to the highest standard, taking the stress off me as a landlord. He communicates clearly and keeps me updated throughout the work, and is always upfront and transparent with his pricing. Currently I work abroad and I’m not always present or available, but I can trust Matthew to handle any maintenance or emergency issues promptly and efficiently and he always kept fully updated. Most importantly, he ensures my tenants are safe. Matthew managed to fit out boiler before Christmas, which we were extremely grateful for. He did everything we asked for, and left the place clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend.

I was having boiler trouble for awhile and Matt had the problem fixed quickly and efficiently.

Matty is very professional and aims to get the job done, he is open and honest. Explains all possible outcomes and talks through the job with you. Couldn't ask for a better service. We are nice and warm after a successful flush of the radiators.

Works carried was the replacement of an old boiler, replace old radiators and then installing new pipe work and then install new kitchen sink. Very happy with work and will be carrying out the annual servicing of the boiler and our gas fire.

I have used Light & Sons multiple times over the past year and couldn’t recommend the service enough. One of the jobs Matt fixed was a leaking valve in the cistern of my toilet, which meant the macerator was going off on a regular basis. Matt went to a local suppliers and found the part at a very reasonable price and fixed the problem. I also had to call Matt out for a leaking radiator valve that was soaking into the carpets. Matt came around late on a Tuesday evening to fix the issue, rather than waiting another day or so to cause further dampness. He solved the issue very quickly and let me know I could call if there was any other problems. Matt also services my boiler annually and is always very prompt, efficient, doesn’t leave a mess and also makes sure I have understood what he has done. I recommend Light and Sons to my family members, as he is on hand quickly, very efficient, I trust him with the work and is very reasonably priced.

Friendly service, reasonable price. He has done multiple jobs for us from bathroom renovation to yearly boiler check and installation of new radiators.

Matt has serviced my boiler a number of years now. He has also done small plumbing jobs for me. Always there when giving a date/time tho sometimes he is held up on another job but will message to let you know. Would I recommend Matt,yes,without hesitation.
