From start to finish, Alan was a consummate professional. When I called him he was able to book me in the next day, upon which he turned up on time (well, fifteen minutes early), and fixed four locks in around an hour. His demeanour was personable and straightforward, and from chatting with him it's clear he's an expert in his field. I will say the charge seemed a bit on the expensive side; however, you're paying for punctualitu, experience, convenience, expediency, and a thorough job being done, and I'd rather pay more knowing I'm in safe hands. Recommended!
you forgot to mention that I also supplied a new mortice lock, as well as servicing 4 others and realigning front door, the old crittal door was especially awkward to adjust and service.. and everything now works as new and keeping you safe&secure.. thank for posting this lovely review 👍
Second time Alan has come and sorted issues with a lock . Front door last year . Yesterday the patio door would not lock . Alan was at my house before 8am the following day to install a new Bristish Standard lock . The door was also very stiff and Alan realigned and put oil on the gearing mechanism. Excellent workman .

We contacted Allen as we were having problems locking our front door and the fact that he was a Trusted Trader. Within 24 hours Allen arrived and was able to ascertain the problem and gave his solution and pricing. Within one hour of him arriving the job was done. New handle and barrel lock fitted and door adjusted to ensure smooth closure and locking. Fanatic work.

Absolutely exceptional service. Alan changed our locks on our new house and managed to get round the same day we moved in with super late notice. The locks in our house were obviously bodged in by the developer and Alan still managed to get them out and put in locks which made us feel a lot more safe and explained how the locks work in lots of detail. Would recommend to anyone. Honest ,reliable and a lovely man! Super greatful

Alan was incredible, I called after I lost the keys to my flat while out shopping, I made a call from tescos at the Hythe, alan arranged to pick me up and take me home and change the lock all done within 30 mins. He also installed a British standard cylinder after he showed me how easy it was to open the door with a standard cylinder.
Alan installed a digital lock on a residential door that I had made using hardwood, I found him to be very skilled and a nice guy to have around
