Excellent work highly recommend
Mark and his team came to replace our ridge tiles that had been repaired incorrectly by another contractor. Various options discussed, Mark is extremely knowledgeable. Arrived when booked, friendly and efficient. Good communication throughout, photos and videos received before during and after completion. Other areas that required attention were pointed out, they replaced some broken tiles and resealed the lead flashing around the chimney. Highly recommended this trader, good job at a fair price. Many thanks.

If you’re looking for an honest, trustworthy, and very experienced roofing company that do a quality job, I highly recommend Mark and his team from Marlite Roofing. I recently secured Marlite Roofing to carry out an assessment and re-repair on a roof leak that had supposedly been repaired by another, frankly, useless roofing company. It’s clear that Mark and his team are very experienced, knowledgeable and keen to do a quality and professional job. They take pride in what they do, use high-quality materials and are very tidy, doing a great job in cleaning the site after completion. They took time out to explain the process, answered any queries and followed up with lots of before, during and after photos. Waiting for some rain to fully test but not expecting any issues. Mark identified other areas of the roof that needed attention in a non-pressure way. I asked him to also complete this and some other work which included clearing moss from the roof, replacing some damaged felt and roof tiles, connecting up an extractor fan to a new roof vent tile, fitting new guttering, eaves guard, fascia and downpipe on one side of the property. All completed to a high standard of workmanship. I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.

Leaking roof fixed
Mark and his team are very friendly, professional and competent. From ringing to fixing my leaking roof was completed in a week and at a good price too. I would recommend Marlite for any roofing work however small or large the job is.

Chimney Repair, Pointing, Lead Flashing, Flaunching
Mark and his team repaired our chimney, pointing, lead flashing and replaced the chimney flaunching. They went above and beyond also re securing several ridge tiles and ensuring the whole roof was water tight. They are incredibly experienced which clearly shows in their work and attention to detail, it’s hard to find a genuine quality tradesman these days one of the best highly recommended.

Chimney Repair, Roof Clean, Installation of Dry RIdge
I would recommend Marlite Roofing and brickwork without hesitation. Mark and his team were friendly, efficient, skilled, conscientious and very tidy (which from previous experience of roofers is uncommon). Mark shared photos and videos of the work before and after completion, making sure that we were happy with the work. We identified an aesthetic issue with the chimney pot after completion, which Mark was happy to return the day after to address to our satisfaction.

Great Job again, thx
Just had Marlite roofing put me a new chimney pot and new re-flaunching today, Mark and the lads have done a great job. This is the second time I've had Marlite roofing do some work for me and if I ever need more work done I'll always go with them every time. Highly recommended, clean and tidy and do the job right, taking videos or photos of before and after so you can clearly see what work they did. Thanks again Mark and the lads.

Roof slates repair
Mark arrived when he said that he would, and was friendly and polite. He checked out the area where the sites were loose, took photos/video from roof level so I could see the problem and discussed the cost to fix it. Once Mark had finished the job, he took pictures of the completed work, for me to view before payment. Great work, no mess left and I’m a very happy customer.

Respectful and thorough
After being told multiple times that I needed a new roof, Marlite came out to give me an estimate. I am so impressed with him and his honesty. Not only did he let me know that my roof still has a few good years in it, but he also repaired areas to stop any leaks. They cleaned up after themselves and were also careful not to damage any plants along the sides of the building.

Very poor customer service
Selected this contractor based on being on your recommended list of traders and other positive reviews. Due to being busy took a short while to visit which was not a problem, a sign of a quality tradesman. Mark took the time to visit and provide a quote. Happy with the price and contacted Mark to proceed After numerous attempts to arrange a start date just got totally ignored. Why make the effort if they were never interested

Great work
Mark and Chris did a great job sorting out my leaking chimney stack, Mark took pictures and videos all the way through the work and explained all that they were doing, I had Marlite roofing after seeing them on a lot of trusted sites like this one do this job after another company did a shocking job. Just wish I'd have had mark from Marlite the first time round.

Chimney Repair
Mark discussed the work required to repair a redundant chimney. He clearly explained what was needed with pictures to support this. He communicated well throughout the process. The work was completed promptly to a high standard at a fair price. I would highly recommend Marlite to others a will be using them again for further work.

Essential Roofing Repairs
We can’t praise Marlite Roofing & Brickwork enough, their professional work ethic is second to none, they are hardworking, courteous and a credit to the trade. Mark is friendly and personable and is very knowledgeable, leaving you confident that you are going to get a good job done. Previously we had been victims of rogue builders who left our roof in a complete mess due to seriously bad workmanship. These are the kind of loosely called ‘tradesmen’ nobody should employ as they left our property in a worse state than before they arrived, making matters worse and leaving our roof leaking more than ever and in a shocking state. We contacted Marlite Roofing & Brickwork as we were at the end of our tether, totally stressed out and upset with what we had been left with. We found Mark’s details after searching on the Nottinghamshire County Council Trading Standards Approved Trader Scheme page. In hindsight we should have gone down this route initially, but we only did a normal google search which brings up all manner of trades claiming to be the real deal. Well, Marlite Roofing & Roofing is definitely the real deal as they carried out a first-class job with our roof repairs. Before work commenced Mark completed a thorough survey and informed us of what was required to rectify the previous attempted efforts. The tiles on the affected roof area had to be removed and re-laid due to being out of alignment. Several broken tiles had to be replaced along with sub-standard fitted lathes and

Replace and refit roof tiles
We would highly recommend Mark (Marlite) he is very helpful and kept us informed about the work, with advise and videos. He discovered previous faulty work by another roofer and spent time putting it right, his work is first class. He is friendly and polite and made sure everything was cleaned up when he finished the job. His price was very reasonable and we would certainly have him back if we have any repairs to do in the future.

Chimney top repair
Mark came to have a look and diagnose the problem. He knew exactly what the problem was and gave me a quote and arranged a date to return to fix it. He came back twice to complete the job and him and the lads were polite and professional. They were tidy and punctual. I will use Mark again in the future for brickwork issues that require some maintenance and will recommend him to anyone who needs any work doing.

Quick, efficient and helpful
Arranged for a visit to quote to have the lead cheek reattached to my dorma window. It had come off in stormy weather and been sat on the roof tiles for some time. The price was fair and they offered to do the job there and then, which I gladly accepted. Not only did they do this job, they secured two loose tiles and cleared debris from the gutter at no extra charge. Nice polite and friendly team, who I will be calling again when I need more help.
