Detailed reviews
Unfortunately a poor experience despite a friend’s recommendation. The staff member who visited my property got the measurements wrong, there was zero contact from him or the company since November 2024. I emailed to investigate what was happening and then when arranging the fitting the ordered product was incorrect and had been measured incorrectly. In the meantime the staff member had left the business (a catalogue of disappointment) and I am now in an unfortunate position left paying a deposit amount for gates which are not useable (for us). The communication has been very poor and now I will seek advice and guidance to try to resolve some of the loss. I expect somebody else will utilise the nice new gates as unfortunately I am not able to!

We appreciate your feedback. However, we feel your comments are inaccurate. The quote for your order was fully approved before production began. As our gates are bespoke, they require a specific manufacturing period to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Unlike off the shelf products, each gate is custom-made to the exact specifications provided, which naturally involves a careful and thorough process. Furthermore, we ensure accuracy throughout the entire process, from initial consultation to final delivery. Our team communicates regarding lead times. Any necessary details are confirmed before production begins. If you had any concerns, we would have been happy to address them at the time. Clean and tidy with their site works. 5. Aware of the relevant legislation in their fields of expertise and the associated Health & safety and environmental requirements. 6. Their quality of work is beyond reproach. 7. All the engineers are fluent and cable in the relevant disciplines. 8. Their work attire is smart, tidy and all the plant and equipment is of a superior quality. 9. The support from the office staff is extremely instrumental in the smooth and successful services provided. 10. They have the capabilities to offer VE on any system, to save Client’s any unnecessary expenditure.
From start to finish this company we’re excellent in completing our sliding gate - we previously had 2 x gates which opened outwards and they welded them together and put a track in to make it a sliding gate, they have just got to come back and paint the posts when it is not so cold!

I recently had a alarm system installed with matrix fire and security. Elliot Lewis who came to provide the initial quote and also to follow through with the full installation, was really informative when meeting him and helpful when showing me how to use the alarm etc once fitted. Really pleased with the service and the system provided
We had a basic alarm system pre wired when we renovated our house and Elliot from Matrix updated this to a modern full alarm system with key fobs and access via our smart phones. He was very prompt and efficient and explained everything to us both, We are now much happier with our security and would have no hesitation in forwarding the company details to any future clients. Thanks for everything Elliot
Elliot Lewis carried out the Majority of the Work Himself he was assisted on 2 Days to complete the Installation. He was Professional, Polite & the Works were first class. I have subsequently Recommended Him to a College in the same Village (Weston Turville) & He is installing a Security System into their Cottage this Saturday.
Been Matrix customers for years. First ever review to say as excellent as ever. High quality package thoughtfully upgraded by Elliot, who is very professional and clearly knows what he is doing. Great all-round team, the ladies in the office are always charming and cheerful. Invest in quality products and it pays off, with excellent guidance by MF&S. Discretion and trust are a premium in this industry, and you get what you pay for with Matrix.
Very poor service from Matrix,system fitted by an engineer who moved to New Zealand taking all codes and information with him, company taking ages to track him down and retrieve the details. It has never functioned satisfactorily, a sensor needed replacing- this never materialised. The app never worked properly on our phones, the final straw came when the battery in the outside siren needed replacing- it kept going off at night. Over the phone an engineer said it would continue going off until totally drained, resulting in my husband removing the battery in the middle of the night. Several days later an engineer attended, changed the battery but was unable to connect it to Pyronix cloud saying it needed to be done via a laptop, on his return appointment he did not use the laptop instead blaming poor mobile reception. He then suggested a new WiFi board, he was to report this and send a quotation we have heard nothing. We have cancelled our contract, Matrix has not responded.

This work was carried out in a very professional way, the installers were very polite and helpful, they carried out the work neatly and tidily and explained the workings of the cameras in full detail. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend this company
