About Matthew James Kitchens Ltd

Matthew James Kitchens was established in 2003. Prior to this, the owner, Matt, worked for a company specialising in Corian worktops. As part of this role, Matt was up and down the country templating and installing Corian worktops in high-end kitchens, which inspired Matt to set up his own business. Matt began working from home where he would design and then install kitchens, also fitting for a couple of local firms. Having built a good reputation for the standard of his work and a reliable team of tradesmen, in 2017 Matt decided that it was time to open a showroom. As part of this move his partner Jo started working alongside him helping with finance and administration, and now importantly social media marketing and website maintenance. We will work with you to create your dream kitchen. The steps below outline the process from start to finish. Initial Contact. Maybe we have been recommended to you or you have found our website and like what you have seen and heard. The next step is for us to get to know you and your style. You can either meet with us at the showroom or if you would prefer we can meet with you at your home. At this point, we can get an idea of what you are looking for, how you live your life and how your new kitchen can be designed to enhance this within a budget that works for you. After visiting you at your house to get exact measurements and to get a better feel for what you want, we will now produce a design concept and costs. Design Consultation We will now meet with you at the showroom to present your kitchen design. This will be done on a large screen in the showroom using Computer Aided Design that will show you 3-dimensional visuals. At this point, we will discuss the design and costs and look at any changes that you would like to be made. Further Consultation If needed we will meet with you again at your home or at the showroom to finalise design amendments and costs. Order Confirmation Once the final plan is agreed and a date arranged for installation to commence, we will produce a schedule of works so that you know what will happen at each stage. At this point, a 25% deposit is required. Installation All of the decisions have been made and now it’s time for our experienced team of professionals to come in and do their part of the job, overseen by Matt, to achieve a successful completion on schedule.
