Roof tile maintenance..... well done
We have two large roofs, old buildings with old tiles. Gales and tree bough impact had left us with cracked and slipped tiles. Mike's team did a super job. The old tiles are quite rare and sourcing them was no small part of the work. Many thanks, we'd very much recommend MC and team.

Re-pinning of bargeboards and fully replace front cement verge
This was the first time I have used the services of Mike Carroll. Scott, Josh and Jake arrived spot on time and were very friendly, helpful, efficient and professional. They are a credit to the business and left me impressed with the work carried out. Great roof valley repair, and extra help
We discovered a roof leak in late January in our Victorian terrace slate roof. Due to the awful weather and backlog of work, the earliest they could do the major repair was early March. But, in order to minimise the damage in the meantime, they popped round in a short break in the rain in early February and sprayed some sealant on the roof valley. This saved us a lot of worry during the incessant rain afterwards. The roof valley work was done very professionally, and they sorted out some other cracked slates they spotted while up on the roof.

Replaced soffits and guttering
Replaced guttering and softest from and back, cladded apex on side wall of house and removed chimney below roofline. Turned up on time and a great team of workers cleaned up after every day and left everything tidy

Friendly local company, good workmanship.
Mike's team replaced the rotten wood and rendering on the front of our house. The team were a very polite and jolly group and did their best to keep the place tidy during a messy job. Minor problems were resolved quickly after the job was completed.

Above and beyond
Mike and Scott went above and beyond to fit the job into their very busy schedule. This speaks to how well thought of they are as a local firm, being in such demand. I don't usually leave reviews but was so impressed with the professionalism, courtesy and attention to detail shown throughout the job. They were always prompt, polite and explained everything thoroughly and clearly. The work was completed ahead of time and the invoice was adjusted to reflect that much less needed doing than anticipated, showing the honesty and professionalism of great tradespersons. Couldn't recommend enough!

Replacement Fascia & Gutter
I have nothing but plenty of compliments to The Mike Carroll team who completed replacement soffit & fascia on our semi-detached property 28/8/25. It was potentially an awkward job with our conservatory which prevented easy access a the rear of the property, but this successfully overcome. I wholeheartedly recommend this company who provided a prompt service with a v good product for the job at a competitive price

Replacement cladding
We used Mike Carroll Ltd last year for replacement soffits, guttering and a new porch canopy and so we didn't hesitate to ask them to replace our cladding on the front and back of our house this year. The workmen were lovely, happy to answer all of my questions and they cleared up after themselves really well. The quality of their workmanship is amazing and our house looks lovely and smart now. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to others for any of the works we have had done.

New Barn roof

Great job
We had fascia, soffits, and guttering replaced, along with redoing verging. We're very happy with the work and it has been done to a high standard. The team were incredibly friendly and respectful (we had James and Jack come to do the work). The job was finished in good time, managing to beat the bad weather! The work was easy to organise and book with Mike, and they even travelled a bit further out of their usual area to accommodate us. Have recommended already to other people, and would definitely use again. Cheers!

Great job
Overall very impressed. The business is very well run/organised, they are very quick to respond to any questions and are very helpful. Great work by a brilliant team

Quality service
During a renovation, we discovered a box window flat roof was leaking and in urgent need of replacement. Mike and his team managed to find a slot 2 days later despite being very busy which meant other trades could continue to their agreed schedules. Jamie and Jack did the work and were prompt, professional, polite and did an excellent job. The work area was left tidy and clean. All in all great service and a quality job.

Replacement fascia, barge boards & guttering.
We approached Mike Carroll based on the information on the website backed up by the positive reviews on Which?TrustedTrader. He responded quickly to our enquiry and a visit to our house followed soon after where he measured up, listened to what we wanted and gave us practical advice. The quote arrived later that day and was clearly set out. The quote also included the cost of a local scaffolding company providing suitable access to the barge boards at the rear of the property to overcome the issue posed by a full-width conservatory. We were happy to accept the quote and had been made aware of when the work was likely to be undertaken (a couple of months away). 2 days before the work was due to start, Mike contacted us and asked if they could start a day early which was fine. James and Jack arrived early that day to start the work and, despite some unpleasant weather, carried on over the next few days until everything was finished. They were friendly, professional and their attention to detail is second to none. Also, the old boards, guttering and any rubbish were cleared away so nothing left for us to do. We are delighted with the result and based on our experience I have no hesitation in recommending the company.
