Ian and Chris are the most brilliant builders ever. Go way above and beyond, super quality work and extremely good value! Have used them for years and will continue to use.

We had some damp issues at the front of our house due to the ground level being too high. Chris and Ian were really helpful in suggesting solutions to both fix the cause of the damp issue and to repair the damage caused. They also moved a radiator and removed a fireplace. They completed the work to an excellent standard and the communication was great both before and during the job. I would have no hesitation in recommending Chris and Ian and we hope to work with them again in the future!

Ian and Chris remained friendly and good humoured throughout the project in spite of some supply difficulties beyond their control. They were open in their dealings and maintained high quality ambitions. In this, they were very selective about the subcontractors they brought onto site, most of whom were excellent. At the time of writing, there are a couple of finishing touches awaiting some other work we have commissioned, but I have every confidence they will be completed. Indeed, they pride themselves on maintaining good relations with their clients over the longer term and did quite a few little things pro bono for us on the side during the project; and responded well to a good supply of tea, coffee and occasional treat.

Chris and Ian have completed several projects for us over the period of about a year, the biggest of which was demolishing an old outhouse and rebuilding to modern spec using the old stone and as much of the original material as possible. We are really thrilled with the result - their work is excellent. From the beginning everything was clear from the order of works, clear invoicing and no surprises. They brought in all the relevant trades to work on the job and project managed the build while keeping us fully informed through responsive communications. Chris and Ian have a great problem solving, can-do approach and they work quickly and tidily (and with sense of humour) - also got on well with our neighbours, which was really important to us. They did some internal jobs for us too - knocking down a wall to enlarge our living room (which was tricky but they found a solution) and adding a downstairs loo as well as a bit of painting/decorating. Very pleased.

Millrick Construction did the building work, carpentry and kitchen installation for our new extension and kitchen refurbishment; additionally, they brought in all the trades needed to complete the job (plumber, electricians, window fitters, etc.). From the outset they were always accommodating and helpful, even when we changed our minds about something, or when the kitchen suppliers made their life very difficult. They were always patient, helpful and sage in their advice. They were transparent about billing and kept to their quote. Their workmanship was wonderful (matching new cotswold stone with old perfectly); everything was done to please us the customers! The trades they brought in were equally skilled, helpful and reliable. In summary, contracting with Millrick was the best decision we could have made - I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Ian was very helpful in sorting out my inspection chamber lid which needed easing, as it had been cemented shut. Ian and his team were friendly, courteous, efficient and punctual. I would recommend.

Millrick are a highly professional and reliable company, I can recommend them without hesitation. Ian and Chris have worked on our front and rear extension this year - they guided us through the process carefully each step of the way, communication from them was excellent. Kept to budget and to estimated schedule, always showed up when they said they would. Ian and Chris had a positive, friendly manner and were a pleasure to have working on and in our house, especially as we have small children - this made the build far easier than expected for us. Outstanding eye for detail and insistence on quality, returning any items to suppliers which didn't make the grade. Really pleased with the work of their sub-contractors too (electrician/carpenter etc.). They even helped my father out with some work along the way as well!
