The work undertaken was a complete conservatory rebuild because of subsidence. All stages from initial demolition of the existing structure through serious groundwork, the laying of solid block and beam foundations, sourcing bricks to exactly match the house, installation of electrics and underfloor heating through to plastering and finally the laying of floor tiles with up-tiled skirting were done by extremely competent, careful and pleasant workmen. We were extremely impressed by the way in which everyone turned up on time, put in a solid day's work, and left everything clean and tidy afterwards. I would imagine getting a better builder an impossible task. I would recommend MLE Construction without any hesitation whatsoever.

I am very happy with the final results of all the work by Bob and his team. The work included a small extension to make a new office, knocking through a new doorway from kitchen to new office, fully insulating the new office and existing utility, new roof over the garage, office and utility room, fixing and re-routing drains and installing a new supply pipe from the mains to house. There were 2 new external doors to back of garage and new office, 2 new internal doors and new ceiling in kitchen. Bob also had to raise the floor in the utility and office to match the kitchen. Lots of fiddly bits but nicely done. Thank you!

I needed a wetroom for my disabled wife. We incorporated it with a dressing area attached to the main bedroom. Rob the owner of MLE came round to give a quote. I was impressed with his professionalism and this was supported by previous excellent reviews. I had a number of other quotes but chose MLE. They started work on the day they said they would and I was very impressed with his team of builders led by Glyn. Being retired I was able to view each stage of the groundwork and subsequent construction. I was very impressed with their attention to detail, quality of work and cleaning up at the end of each day. I made a small number of tweaks to the build and Rob was always available to discuss and advise. They also used a number of other outside tradesman I.e. electrician, plumber, roofer and tiler. These were top quality and turned up when Rob said they would. They completed on time and we are very impressed with the result. Also laid a new patio. Thanks Chris. Highly recommended.

We had a double storey extension to the back of our house, a retaining wall moved back to create a larger patio area, a porch and a garden room built by Rob Drew and his exceptionally talented team. From our initial contact with Rob, he was humble, friendly, helpful and, above all, honest, even giving us advice and help before we’d even accepted his quote. Nothing was too much trouble for Rob and, in Glynn, his principle builder, there is an obsessive attention to detail in pursuit of perfection. The whole team, Gus, Chris, Glynn, Kieran, Kai, Rob (Plumber), Ollie and Rob himself were all fantastic at their jobs and all lovely people - some are now firm friends. Rob’s quotes are very thorough, and any extra work we thought of during the build was quoted for quickly and accurately so you always knew where you stood and had no hidden extra costs. I cannot rate and recommend Rob and his team highly enough and, when I need work doing in the future there’s nobody else I will call upon.
