John and his team done more than they agreed, their work was perfect, they would of finished a day early but for pouring down with rain for a whole day, I would have no problem with recommending M & P Paving my front drive and rear patio and pathway are second to none. John Smith Hemel Hempstead
Can’t recommend these people enough, they laid my drive twenty years ago and it still looks brilliant so I asked them to lay the patios in my garden and I’m very happy with the results ⭐️
Patrick and James were referred by my father who initially used the 17 years ago. They recently had a refresh and the work had stood the test of time After discussion with Patrick we agreed to his suggestions and had the rear garden completely re-modelled. The driveway was also completely block paved replacing 50 year old concrete. The team did a fantastic job, were punctual, friendly and courteous at all times. They worked so hard and finished promptly. They tidied up each day and I would have no hesitation in recommending M and P Paving to anyone. We can now enjoy our garden so much more than we ever have. Thank you Patrick, James and your team.
M&P Paving Contractors Ltd came and quoted for the works, although not the cheapest they understood what I wanted and was happy to accommodate changes throughout. The whole process was easy, the employees worked there socks off in cold, damp weather and gave us a lovely finished patio and path up to the property. The whole team were great from quoting, keeping me informed and to completing the job. I would have no hesitation to recommending them for works in the future.

We live in a small village, word of mouth is the best advertisement you can get, living in a village you get a plenty of that. Pat & James have undertaken most if not all the drives in our village, this gave us plenty of opportunity over the years to view the work they have undertaken and how it has stood the test of time. so when it come to our 120 metre long side entrance there was no hesitation to contact Patrick requesting a quotation, this was undertaken by him the next day and work commenced about 2-3 weeks later, as expected we are delighted with the completed job. This is a well run family company that has just completed my patio and garden path. The team worked through this heat wave and each day one of the family came and asked if things were OK and little problems resolved. My parents had an old crazy paved back garden. What a transformation by M&P paving. The standard of work and quality of finish is 10/10. The workforce were a pleasure to have, they kept us up to date, the work was completed quickly and with great expertise, and the site left in an immaculate state. We can highly recommend them. These guys are proof that there are good contractors out there. My drive was in a real mess after a botched job. Patrick and James waited patiently until I was ready to have the drive re-done and although they were not the cheapest their passion for quality gave me confidence. They visited twice a day to make sure we were happy with the work being done and the team working here were very polite, clean and friendly at all times. We've had many neighbours comment on their work ethic and punctuality, even over the weekend. It was a big job but no corners have been cut and we are delighted with the end result. Patrick was great in recommending how to get the best outcome and if anything was even more concerned with the completed look than I was. We've enjoyed their company and highly recommend them. You will be amazed!
M & P completed our neighbours driveway two years ago and we were really impressed with their work. We decided to get ours done this year having seen how well our neighbours had lasted. They were excellent. Price quoted (which was very competitive) was the price paid at the end, the men worked their socks off in horrible rain and cold weather and the work was very neat and clean. I would definitely recommend them. We are really delighted with our new driveway.
M & P did a lot of work for a neighbour a few years ago which we liked and so when we wanted a new patio we asked them, among others, to have a look and quote. They listened to what we wanted, took it on board and made some helpful suggestions too. The price was fair and so we had no hesitation in asking them to do the work. Patrick, James and John were here every day and always available for any questions or queries. They gave us samples of slabs and bricks to choose from and we were always kept informed of what was happening. Hassan, Darren and Lette worked very hard and the quality of their work was excellent with no short cuts taken. We were so impressed with our patio that we had our driveway done and the rest of the back garden landscaped! We would have no hesitation recommending M & P for any landscaping, patio or driveway work. Their vast experience in this type of work really does make a difference. Apart from everything else they are all nice people and good to work with.
Last year M&P did such an amazing job on my driveway, so when I decided I wanted a new patio there was no other company I wanted to do the work. Pat came straight out and gave me a very competitive price, we booked in a date for the work and once the guys started they worked flat out and completed it in only two days. They used great quality Indian sandstone slabs and the finished patio looks amazing, I especially love how they’ve hidden a very unsightly drain cover. They listened to exactly what I wanted and if I could give them 10 stars I would!! Would highly recommend

Patrick, John & James were brilliant, they totally got what we were trying to achieve and offered advice and suggestions that improved and enhanced our original plan. They were happy, and proud, to show us some completed, and in progress work, which supported our decision to go with them. They know their trade and take great pride in delivering a great job. The team were polite, extremely hard working and took great care, even our neighbours commented on how hard they worked and how tidy they left everything at the end of each day. The picture really doesn't do the job justice, we are so pleased with the end result and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending, in fact they have just completed our friends garden following on our recommendation!
This is a small local family business which has been around for a long time. Patrick took over from his brother and his nephew James is still involved. They have done most of the driveways around where we live and to a very high standard. They did our front block paved driveway about 8 years ago and it is stll in great condition. We have been considering a new patio for a while and asked them to quote. Very good price so went ahead and very pleased with the results. They turn up on time and did a very nice job on the patio, also digging out part of the front garden and filling with topsoil for a flower bed. Weather was foul and it's a tough job but their guys turn up on time and work hard to get the job finished. They also are very good at the design and colour selection and take pride in the finished product. Will use them again.
