Matt project managed and fitted my kitchen to a very high standard, working with Howdens and the worktop and flooring suppliers to ensure the end result was exactly what I wanted. He was flexible in his approach, modifying the design to suit my needs. I was particularly impressed with how tidy he was. Inevitably there was a lot of disruption, as the kitchen was completely remodelled, but he made sure that everything was cleared away at the end of each day to minimise the impact. The schedule did overrun a little as his employee resigned unexpectedly shortly before work started, leaving him shorthanded, however Matt kept me informed throughout and worked around my own work commitments at every step. The work came in on budget, apart from a couple of additional things I asked for after the original quotation was drawn up. Everyone who's seen the kitchen has been really impressed with it and so am I!

We approached Matt middle 2024 to work with a design idea we had to utilise the eaves into storage. He was very easy to work with, and provisionally booked us in for Jan 2025. The work started in Feb 2025, and completed in March. The storage is exactly what we required, and we were able to re-use materials from a previous storage unit we had, which was great for us. The images shared on Instagram are true and representative of the work and quality. I would recommend Matt for any bespoke carpentry you are looking at.

We have used Matt twice now to install Kitchens and perform renovation work, once in 2019 and most recently in 2025. We have been really pleased with the service provided by Matt and his team. The most recent job Matt completed for us was a to renovate and install a large kitchen and utility room. This job involved stripping out the old kitchen, removing an interior wall, plumbing and electrics, fitting LVT throughout, fitting new doors, plastering / decorating and then fitting the new kitchen. Matt managed this job with his team and completed a lot of the final fitting and finish personally. Matts communication is great, he always kept us up to date on plans and can work flexibly around any issues encountered. As an example, we encountered a problem with the electrics during most recent job (which could not have been foreseen) which took some extra time for the electricians to resolve and delayed the final end date; Matt kept us informed of progress and worked around this to ensure that we could complete the kitchen without further significant delays. One of the reasons we chose to use Matt again was his attention to detail. Both times we have used Matt, the final fit and finish has been to a very high quality and it is clear that Matt takes great pride in his work. I would not hesitate to recommend Matt if you have a kitchen renovation project.

We accepted Matt's quote in January 2024 with a 4 month lead time. On Matt's advise we chose materials from Howdens and I ordered the oven and hob from other suppliers. Matt procured the tiles matching them to an existing tile. The work virtually started on the agreed estimate date and took place over a 2 week period. We had access to a working sink at all times during the works. Matt and Sam worked skilfully and took care to produce a good finish not rushing any stages. Matt always consulted us as the works progressed on any optional points. A plumber and gas engineer were engaged by Matt to complete the works and they worked well. A gas certificate was supplied. Matt also affixed a glass splashback that we had also procured separately. Matt agreed to dispose of the old oven and hob and cleared all waste materials. We are very pleased with the results, it has really improved our kitchen and utility room.

We booked Matt through recommendation from Howdens. He was very good communicating with us for the quote and finalising details. The work started slightly later than planned (we were told there was a delay). Work was of a high standard and met our needs. The work finished later than we anticipated but was great quality of workmanship and worth the wait. Matt was able to adjust some of the specification to our needs. The job went largely to spec and was as per quote. We found Matt to be responsive and easy to get along with, being helpful and polite. He always cleaned up each day so we were able to use the space. We liked Matt’s attention to detail.

Matt has not long finished a complete installation of a new kitchen for us. He came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. Our first meeting with Matt was very friendly, he was very explanatory as to ideas and he gave us a good quote for all that we needed. The works included new LED lighting and the installation of an electrical cable from our garage into the kitchen (via the hallway), plastering, new LVT flooring and re-decoration. He is a perfectionist and his attention to detail is second to none. We had an idea of what the end result would look like but Matt has completely surpassed our expectations and we couldn’t be happier. On the day he left we didn’t have to tidy up and if it wasn’t for the new kitchen we wouldn’t have known he’d been. Matt really is a joy to have around the house and we would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Matt has been amazing. He has built us a fully bespoke study with alcohol cabinet, bookshelves, display case, cupboards and desk. This includes. electrical work and flooring. Everything was bespoke and exactly to our specification. Throughout the process Matt would always consult with us so we could agree on the specifics to follow. Having used high street providers in the past I can say that the quality of what Matt has produced is much higher, the cost much more reasonable and the end product much more bespoke. I couldn't recommend Matt highly enough and we have already asked him to quote on several additional projects we would like to move on to. 5*5*5*

Matt installed a new kitchen for me, including decorating and modified electrical fittings. Chosen as a Which? recommended tradesman he did not disappoint from Day1. His quote, accompanied by some useful suggestions was very competitive. The work surpassed expectations. Matt is a very unassuming, considerate and personable person to deal with. Very patient! He is multi-skilled and included several extras by way of advice, thus going the extra mile within the quote. He is a well organised, tidy worker and totally reliable and trustworthy. In fact, a perfectionist. So upheaval was kept to a minimum, and he always left the area clean and tidy at the end of the day. Highly recommended and I challenge anybody to find better.

Highest quality or work, flexible and informative, providing ideas when we were stuck. The kitchen fitted perfectly. Huge amount of floor tiling completed to exceptional standard. Preparation was very thorough. Communication very good. Tidy worker and cleaned every day before leaving.

Full refit of our kitchen, utility, downstairs toilet and downstairs flooring. Matt and his team were reliable, professional and showed great attention to detail. Throughout the project, we were fully informed with ongoing communication. Matt’s carpentry skills and care have resulted in a beautifully fitted kitchen, made to measure shelving in the utility, a new cloakroom suite with fitted storage and porcelain tile flooring throughout. Matt provided an excellent service installing my new kitchen. His attention to detail was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. He installed new LVT flooring throughout the downstairs of the house. Installed a downstairs toilet and basin unit as well as installed the new high gloss white kitchen. He cleaned up every day and was extremely tidy when working. The price was reasonable and well worth it considering the end result. I recommend Matt highly and will definitely use him again in the future.
