We had some unwanted washbasins removed. The work was done very efficiently and neatly. Don was friendly, helpful and well priced. We will definitely use him again when we need help with plumbing.

First rate tradesman. Skilled, polite and helpful. Charges honest prices. Left bathroom clean and tidy when job finished. Would recommend Don to anyone and everyone. I will certainly use him again.

I had a problem with a kitchen tap and found Don on Trusted Traders. I was concerned about using someone I didn't know, BUT he is definitely the jewel in the crown. Don is not only an excellent plumber but goes the extra mile to make sure everything was fitted and worked well. He cleaned up afterwards and I would highly highly recommend him to anyone that needs a plumbing job done by a 'reliable' plumber. I am so glad I stumbled across Don on this website (first time using Which). What I had was, in fact, quite a simple problem, but other builders and plumbers had over-complicated into one that required scaffolding, s.20 notice, a bureaucratic mess! And one that would cost almost £2000. When I spoke to Don on the phone, he really listened to me and diagnosed a MUCH simpler problem. I was amazed. He also advised me to speak to my local council to see if they could send someone for a site visit and approve the regulations before he came to do any work. I did just that, and spoke to a surveyor from Haringey Council who (without prompting) advised exactly the same thing as Don, that the waste pipe simply needed an air admittance valve fitted, rather than more invasive means i.e. going through the roof. Don came and did the job, even noticed another giant problem thanks to my previous (cowboy) builders, fixed it all - I don't even think it took an hour! The work was carried out about 10 days ago and I am so so happy to finally enjoy my bathroom without the foul stench of a historical fault with the sewage pipe, and the works carried out cost about 10% of the amount it would have done if I had gone with the previous (erroneous) advice given by others. As someone else wrote on here, so great to finally meet someone who understands their trade. Also a very nice guy who is very quick to respond on phone and messages. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED, and I will always use Don in future!

3 radiators valves replaced, drain cock fitted. At last a plumber who knows his trade. Efficient reasonable prices. What is not to like?

Really delighted with work carried out by Don to restore the hot water supply to our bathroom. He was extremely helpful in explaining what had gone wrong and also showed what we could do if we had a recurrence. Don was very pleasant, efficient and most helpful and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to everyone.

Don is very cheerful and polite and arrived when promised. He did a first-class job though it wasn't a huge one or particularly high value. He left the bathroom in a spotless condition once finished and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services. We will definitely use them again ourselves.

Don fitted new kitchen taps and a boiling water tap. Everything went as I hoped: Prompt, as agreed, as quote. An excellent job. Don explained what he was going to do, and what he had done. In doing the fittings he improved the existing pipe work. Thanks.

Having given up waiting for another Which Trusted Trader to do this small job, I contacted Don who arrived promptly and fitted the part. He also returned to fit TRI valves to two radiators. Whilst on his second visit, Don also adjusted the programmer thermostat for the conservatory underfloor heating and balanced central heating radiators. These second items were in addition to the purpose of his second visit but Don got 'stuck in' without hesitation. I certainly highly recommend this cheerful and competent chap. We had a problem with a toilet that would not flush. Don replied immediately on his mobile phone and asked me to send him two photos to tell him what kind of cistern and what kind of internals we had. Within two minutes he had diagnosed what needed to be done and we made an appointment. He did what needed to be done and suggested a remedy for a small problem that might occur in the future. He obviously has a wide range of plumbing experience and is extremely capable as a result. We were very lucky to find Don, so thanks also goes to Which?.

Fitted me in at short notice and got the job done in no time. V reasonable charge. Will ask him to come back and refer shower room.

I found Don via the Which? Trusted Trader website and was really impressed with his work. I needed someone to fix a gas leak and carry out some routine maintenance on my hot water system. Don was punctual, courteous, knowledgeable, and cost was extremely reasonable. Can't recommend highly enough.

What more can you ask, this gentleman is reliable, professional and very reasonable in terms of cost. I highly recommend him as I'm afraid today such things are becoming increasingly rare.
