“We used Peter to do a bunch of repairs on our roof of our old house in Glasgow. He was the the only quote who went up and had a look at the roof in person! He was very professional and advised us of the work needing done and didn't try two over sell. His quote was the most reasonable and he detailed the work needing done. The best aspect was the promptness and communication - he was reliable and turned up when he said he would and responded to enquires quickly. He also took photos as he went along showing is the work being done. He was also patient and let us get a couple of quotes in before making our final decision. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to family or friends.”
“Very prompt attendance following initial contact. Craig came out and after checking the work required set a date to carry out the roof repair. Work was completed to a high standard and at a very reasonable price. He took photographs before and after to show what the problem was and subsequently how he repaired it. He explained what the issues were and how to resolve it. A friendly and reassuring tradesman, I would certainly use this company again and recommend to anyone looking for roof repair. Alan, Fenwick”

I turned to trust a traderafter having so many roofers who failed to fulfill what they promised. When Pete attended on the initial visit very friendly and honest, he sent the quote on the same day, when I contacted him to confirm work to go ahead, a date was organised promptly. Craig came to do the work, we had a discussion (he was friendly with my dog too), he updated me regularly about what his plan was to complete the work. I have given 4 stars, because it was a leaky roof and we have not had rain, so I can't say if it is completely fixed yet.
I was extremely satisfied with the level of service I received from these workers. They explained what they were doing and how long it was going to take. I was told what they were going to do on the next day and kept me informed as they went along. The three guys we had on sight were very polite and could not have been any better, I was unable to be in contact with them in person as I was unwell, but they kept my wife well informed. The job was completed well within time and I say again I am delighted with the job done. Harry Young.

He responded to my initial enquiry regarding repairing/replacing my flat roof really promptly, and was great at helping me understand what would be required. He explained the process, and the services that the company would provide, clearly and responded patiently and professionally to any questions and queries that I had. I felt that I was in good hands throughout. The whole job was completed in excellent time, even in the face of the wintry Scottish weather, and exceeded my expectations. I now have a fabulous new (guaranteed) roof, restoring not only my property but also my peace of mind. A potentially arduous process has been made as pleasant and painless as possible, and I would heartily recommend Peter, and Nelson Property Maintenance Ltd, to anyone looking for a reliable, professional company.

Contacted Peter through Trust a Traded, within a few hours Connor was sent out to take a look at the work needing done. Quote and time was agreed and the next day Connor and team arrived to complete all the work to a very high standard in one morning. Very happy overall and has given us great peace of mind with regards to the condition of our roof.

Prompt, attentive, reliable! 200% more efficient than any other local roofing contractor contacted in the last 10 months. A great find.
Nelson's team came to my property August 2024 and charged just under £2,000 to replace the Apex stating that would solve any leaks, which we were currently having. Contacted them in April 2025 due to bad weather and we heard leaking in the attic and he'd given us a 10 year warranty. It is now September 2025 and he still has been avoiding to arrange a date for them to come out and fix the leak, he constantly tells me to call another time and ignores my messages. They do not follow through with their warranty so be warned.
Desperately needed a new roof on our extension, it was done fast and looks great.
