Newman and sons were very professional and explained in detail everything they were doing, including taking before and after photos, they were very quick at responding and understood the job was urgent. Hopefully I will have no further issues.

Superb job, absolutely delighted with what Mark and team provided. On time, on budget, all work delivered as agreed and discussed. Pragmatic cost effective advice in planning the work. From quote and view on Monday to phase 1 done on Thursday. Whisper it, but we think we might just have found our "go to" for building work, more to come if this is the standard delivered. Recommended!

Twice Newman and Sons came to repair my leaking roof charging both times, the 2nd time claiming their original repair work didn’t work because I’d put artificial grass. I was never convinced, told them so but reluctantly agreed to pay twice. It started leaking again. I’ve tried to speak to them by phone, text messages, emails. I’ve sent a recorded delivery that unless I hear from them I’ll take out a County Court Action for reparation not only for the roof but also for the serious internal damage the leaking has caused. I’m amazed and wonder why their reviews are so positive. Very strange.

Get an itemised quote that separates plants and materials, any machinery or skip hire, and labour — a vague 'garden makeover' lump sum hides where the money goes and makes extra charges easy to add later.
