I've used Dave as my go-to electrician at my house since 2013. I needed some LED spotlight units to be installed in my bathroom to replace the exisitng units and Dave quickly quoted for the supply and installation and we agreed on a Saturday (today) for the works. These days it is so reassuring to know that the works will alway be done correctlly, I have no hesititation in recommending Dave. In fact I've decided to have more spotlight units in my house replaced next week!

David came up with a great solution for wiring up our garden office despite our fuse box being awkwardly located. The work was completed to a high standard, in the agreed amount of time and on budget. He was always happy to help with any questions we had about the work and very clear in his answers.

Dave was able to fit me in the week after I called. He was very friendly and trustworthy and fitted the new light promptly. He even went to the trouble of giving me advice on how I could do a task myself which I was considering asking him to do. Very honest. Recommended!

Dave was the second person I had over to give me a quote for fixing a seemingly-broken wall socket in my garage. Whilst here, he not only corrected the problem (which turned out to have a simple cause that the first electrician had missed), but also fixed one of my light fittings that was coming loose, all for a modest fee. I was so impressed that I asked him to return to replace my consumer unit and perform a wiring test, all of which were completed quickly and efficiently. If I have any further electrical work done, Dave will definitely be the first person I call. Highly recommended! :)

I had several small jobs that I thought needed doing. Dave, who is very nice, checked sockets, smoke alarm and electrical fittings and assured me that I didn't need to worry - his explanations and advice were invaluable. Those that did need fixing (broken switch and light) were repaired with speed and efficiency. I highly recommend Dave and his company. He will be the first electrician I will call in future.

Found Daves details on trustedtraders, phoned him regarding a ceiling light / wiring issue and he was over within 15 minutes. All fixed within half an hour. Great work, reasonable price, really nice guy and would definately use again.

Mr Newman carried out some electrical work at our property, i.e. removing existing spotlights and replacing them with new ones, removing wall sconces, replacing sockets - which included some channelling into the wall and plastering - fixing our doorbell etc. He was extremely reliable, was always punctual, very professional and experienced; he also always cleaned afterwards. In addition to this, his fees are reasonable. I highly recommend him.

David was really accommodating to make sure our job got completed to the timeline. He tested the electrics in the house we’d just moved to, installed spotlights and central lights in rooms, removed wall lights and installed an external socket. He was consistently punctual and made sure all the work was done precisely with attention to detail. I can highly recommend him. We’ll definitely be using him for any electrical work in the future.

We needed a new light fitted in our kitchen. We contacted Newman's Electricals and he came the next day, Dave arrived when he said he would. He was friendly and helpful and explained about different light bulbs we could use. He got on with the job which he completed quickly and tidily - no mess. We were very satisfied with his work and he was reasonably priced.

Dave carried out a complete rewire in our 3 bed Victorian terraced house while we and our furniture and possessions were still in situ. He came when he said he would and did the work efficiently and tidily. He was very responsive to changes of plan and additions to the work and offered helpful advice and suggestions when necessary. He always had a good solution for any problem that arose. The work was completed on time, on budget and to a high standard. His charges were very competitive and in addition Dave is a very friendly and pleasant person to deal with. We will certainly use his services again if we have further electrical work in the future.
