Our house electrics needed a full overhaul. Previously the house had been in the same hands for many decades and there had been a lot of bodging with the electrics over the years. Over the course of several visits Nick undertook full testing of the system, replaced the consumer box, hard wired a new oven and boiler, moved locations of lights, fitted new ceiling lights and fans, replaced faulty sockets, fitted a new extraction fan, among other tasks. In all interactions Nick has been a very thorough and professional. If you need a reliable/honest electrician, then Nick is a great choice.

First time using Nick to do electrical work for us, we will definitely recommend and use him again. Replaced 4 ceiling lights, and some switches. We are so pleased with his work. Super friendly & efficient. He was genuinely interested in us and chatted away whilst doing the work. He explained additional work possibly required, no pressure at all from Nick. Thank you

Really appreciate Nicks hard work and effort. He worked to schedule and with no issues. He recommended a few things and was extremely competitive with the price. He carried out a full kitchen reside and replaced the consumer unit

Electrical work in homes in England & Wales should be done by a registered competent person who can self-certify it meets the Part P safety rules. Check they're on the official register.

Check the electrical register
In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations. Confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done. It is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
