Jimmy turned up on time and arranged for the re-pointing at the front of the house to be carried out. Jimmy did not do the work himself but arranged for an experienced bricklayer (Peter) to carry out the re-pointing and replacement of some decayed bricks. Work was undertaken on time and completed successfully and final result was very satisfactory.
The whole team were fantastic - professional and friendly. Jimmy was great and always ready to help and give advice. We are really pleased with the work they completed for us. We feel very lucky to have had Jimmy and his team work on various roofing projects at our house. Thank you.

Jimmy was very honest and knowledgeable about our problem. His team Craig and Steve was excellent and was very clean, careful and thorough with the repairs, cleaning as they went and left everything super clean and tidy afterwards. They even replaced the broken and slipped tiles with restored tiles so that it would be sympathetic to the rest of the roof! It’s hard to find a specialist to trust for historic properties, I will definitely be asking Jimmy and his team to help me out again for other areas of the property.
Jimmy was available to quote at short notice and arrived on time. He gave free advice on how we could resolve the work ourselves. He made sure we understood the exact approach and reasons for his advice and the specific products he recommended. We appreciated his integrity and friendly approach and would definitely contact him for any work in future.

Had our old style tiles replaced on both the front and rear of our house with modern Upvc cladding. Entire job took three days and was completed to a fantastic standard. Dan the principle roofer on our job was extremely experienced and skilled and took great pride in ensuring a high quality job completion. So impressed with the cladding work result, we had no hesitation in using Old School Builders to carry out further work to repair our roof. One hundred per cent recommend Old School Builders.

Excellent quick response from Jimmy and his team who came out to look and gave me the options of what the solutions were. I went with the shorter term option for the moment. Then came around later the same day and made good the repairs. Very honest. Very clear. I could not recommend more highly and will use again when I need the roof done fully.
We had redundant holes on the outside of our house walls. The work was excellent, carefully aligning the pattern of the new bricks and even matched the colour of the mortar to that of the original. I would recommend this company.

Jimmy helped with the tiles on the front of our house, in particular, cutting the tiles to fit around our gas meter and pipe. He gave us a reasonable quote as was able to complete the work the very next day. The quality of the work is excellent and we couldn't ask for more.
