I contacted Paul to have the glass replaced in my bathroom window and part of my living room. His quote was the most competitive and he had good availability. Work was carried out to a high standard and everything cleaned up and left as before. I am really pleased & would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

The installers were friendly and professional. They arrived on time and let me know the daily schedule so I could plan my day. Although I went for a cheap option the quality was much better than I expected. I am very happy with the results.

A retrofit survey of my 1960s-built maisonette had recommended upgrading to A++ triple glazing as one of the most urgent and cost-effective improvements to reduce heat loss and increase energy efficiency. As I wanted to use an established local company with a good reputation, ideally owner-run & a Which? Trusted Trader, PS Home Improvements was my first choice, confirmed from my first contact with them. Paul, the engaging & experienced owner, responded promptly to my enquiry, visited soon after to survey - even releasing a jammed window handle which had left a bedroom window open during bitterly cold weather - & followed up with a quotation to replace all the windows and doors in my 3-storey property with triple glazing to my chosen specification. I opted to postpone any work on the ground floor entrance as my priorities were the 2 upper floors with the main accommodation. At my request the work was carried out in 2 stages, 1 floor at a time, to manage the disruption, but as you'd hope & expect, this was minimal & Paul provided good guidance about the preparation I should make. His 2 fitters were really cheerful, hard-working, experienced & people you'd happily have working in your home whether you were in or out. They kept me updated on progress, put down protective materials to cover flooring & furniture and cleared up as they went. The work was completed on time; the quality & workmanship is excellent & the entire experience was excellent throughout.

We spent considerable time researching windows, options and gaining an extensive number of quotes, which varied massively. We chose PS Home Improvements because the advice, options and explanations given were clear. Paul's approach was refreshing, it gave us all the information we needed, without bombarding us in highly technical language. I am very pleased with the work done to replace the back door to our garage. The whole job which included putting in a new door frame, and repairing some loose brickwork, was done very neatly. The new door, as well as being more secure, looks very smart. This is the second job that Paul and his team have done for us, and I am happy to recommend them

We had an old timber framed window that needed replacing. Paul was very helpful, and provided his quote quickly. It was a day’s work for two of his team to remove the old window, replace it with a new PVC one, and clear away all the rubbish. All very friendly guys. Very happy with the work done

Paul and his team did a wonderful job. I engaged with Paul on this work as he had previously done our front door about a year ago and that work was great so Paul was my first and only option to get the windows done. He came around for an initial viewing of the work required to give us an indicative quote and look at some options. We went back and forth for a while whilst we decided what windows we wanted and if we wanted to get our outside kitchen door done. Once we settled on what we wanted Paul came over and did the exact measurements and went away to get the windows made up. Once they were done we agreed a date to get them installed. The work was carried out professionally by Nathan and Callum with the minimum of fuss. We had all the windows in the house done so it did take four full days. One of the windows was wrong (manufacturer error) and Paul arranged for the new glass to be made up and installed. This took about a week to get sorted but it was no hassle for Paul at all. The quality of the work is great and we are seeing the benefits of the windows already. We are seeing far less usage on heating as the windows help the house to retain the heat and there are no air leaks into the house. And a big bonus is that the house was not left in a mess with bits and pieces of plastic and glass everywhere. Basically, they tidied up after themselves which cannot be said for a lot of tradespeople. I would definitely recommend Paul and team for your work.

PS Home improvements provided excellent professional and friendly service. We had a new composite front door installed. The work man who did the installations were polite, did a great job and cleared up each day they were here. The quote we received from Paul was received very quickly and we felt the price was reasonable. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
