"We had our water softener installed a year ago and always meant to write a review. The installation process was excellent and the water softener has worked beautifully ever since then. After installation we have used their washing powder which we order when we order salt. All arrive without any hassle. The softener has considerably reduced the amount of washing powder and dishwasher tablets we use. Replenishing the salt is easy to do and there is no mess as it is supplied in blocks. Definitely would recommend this supplier."

Overflowed flooding kitchen. About 3 weeks to get appointment for engineer. Came, replaced parts. Same issue after he left. Returned another wait, replaced same parts. Later cupboard again flooded. Not only that but on closing valves to isolate water softener I find the bypass valve which should have been closed was stlll open so that water supply remained direct from mains, not via softener. Today, Monday 2nd Dec, told earliest engineer appointment is 10th Dec. Appalling service and doubtful competance of engineer. Shame as the softener has been in use 10 years. Awaiting visit 3 as I write.
Avoid this company. They are working off the old double glazing script. They don't have engineers or technicians, and there is no follow up or after care. When my unit was fitted I asked the installer some questions and was told "I can't say anything, I don't know what Patmore told you". I called Patmore recently to say that my unit wasn't working, and after much obfuscation they said couldn't get anyone out for at least a month. When I said I was going to get an independent professional to look it over, they suddenly found someone available. I'm going to decline their offer.
