Replacing our "prison cell" window with a larger one We paid Mr Pelle to supply an enlarged window. He said he'd send a diagram. He didn't. We told him as long as it's not smaller than the existing window we'd be happy. He supplied a window which was narrower and also too deep to fit the enlarged hole (for which we had to pay a lot more than he quoted to a third party). We eventually sold this piece of junk window for £55 on ebay to get rid of it. Prior to this said he'd come down to see the window. He didn't show up or even text with an excuse. Later he said he's drilled his hand. We had to hire another glazier to fit a window which is perfect. Mr Pelle said he couldn't fit a smaller framed window without charging £3,000+. He got that wrong. In the end we paid another glazier £2k to do the same job that Mr Pelle was hired for, and sued him for the repayment. In September 2023 he said he'd pay before our deadline of 13 Oct. Unsurprisingly Mr Pelle didn't pay so now we have to send in the bailiffs, having paid him £2k for nothing. I should have known better when he showed up to measure and I smelled alcohol on his breath. In dealing with us he's failed to deliver on 4 promises even though we've advised him on WhatsApp. From our point of view, this has been a disastrous waste of time so if you deal with him, don't pay until the job is done! Unreliable, breaks promises, doesn't show up, and hires dodgy sub-contractors. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Replace 2 smashed double glaze units. Pelle Glazing came assessed the work gave me a quote I agreed the cost and Pelle ordered the units. They came back to replaced the units and removed all waste the work was carried out professionally and to a good standard.

Repair the frame of a wooden window I can highly recommend Robert. He is highly precise and very reliable. He fixed the window perfectly and I am fully satisfied. Will employ him again.
Glass roof light seal repair 15 sq m of rooflight glazed glass to replace. Good communication, good price, stuck to schedule, good installation experience and paid attention to finishing. It helped that one person was able to do the entire job of ordering and replacing glass, disposal and clean up, decorative carpentry as well as carpentry work to increase the pitch of my rooflight frame. Glass replacement on reclaimed internal Victorian Door Great guy, quick responsive and good value.
Replace rotting windowsill Robert did a fab job. Recommended we also do the corking on our windows, which was good to know and we decided to go ahead and do that too. They worked quickly, cleaned up afterwards and came back to paint the windowsill the next day once it was dry. Would recommend Robert and hire them again.
Install cat flip to glass panelled uPVC door Pelle provided the best price and fitted the cat flap very well. Only slight irritation was a disagreement in the price agreed at the last minute - this did not take away from the overall positive experience.
Steel window restoration Robert was exceptional fast in response, very thorough, an expert at what he does and is kind with it. I had some unusual windows (to me anyway, metal, in an odd shape) and he measured up and fitted in under 5 days. Very hard worker. Thanks.
