We contacted Peter in 2020 to fit a new kitchen but unfortunately I got cancer for the second time. Peter was very considerate and told us to contact him when we were ready. He started work in June 2021 and not only fitted our new kitchen but project managed the fitting of new heating, including removing hot air ducting and fitting radiators and new boiler, fitting new separate ring main together with consumer unit. He also knocked down the old boiler cupboard and larder to extend the kitchen and fitted new flooring and hung a new door. His advice and attention to detail were exemplary and all done with patience and a sense of humor . He kept us informed at every stage of the build, we are having some more work done and Peter is most definitely the builder we will be using.

Peter did a great job on our downstairs bathroom. He always had a solution for any problems that arose and carried out all work to high standards. I would highly recommend him.

100% Dishwasher Delight! PLG Building Services resolved a tricky integrated dishwasher removal situation, which AO and Pimlico Plumbers considered would necessitate cutting either the floor or the worktop. Not deterred, Peter concluded after thoroughly assessing the situation that the dishwasher could be removed by lifting the worksurface on wedges and lifting the dishwasher out. Peter sent a very reasonable quote the same day and came to carry out the work the following Monday. I'm delighted to report that Peter and Daniel successfully extracted the trapped machine, carried it to the front of our house and plumbed in the new machine. The invoice came in at exactly the quoted amount; we have a working dishwasher; our kitchen worksurface and floor are in tact; and we have avoided an incredible upheaval and expense! Peter did a fantastic job on some tricky re-tiling work in my bathroom. Some tiles had come loose on the floor due to poor adhesion, and he needed to lift them and replace them without damaging the underfloor heating below. I'm pleased to say that Peter's work was a success, and they now look as good as new, with the underfloor heating working fine. Peter is friendly and explained everything thoroughly throughout the job. PLG wasn't the cheapest estimate for the work, but I went with them because they could do the work quickly and explained everything well. I'm glad that I did. I would highly recommend Peter and PLG to others.

Peter did an excellent job fitting some wardrobe doors for me. He was quick to respond, very professional, good value and a pleasure to deal with. I'm more than happy to recommend him and will certainly use him again.
