This company was recommended to us by a friend. We had two outstanding jobs that needed doing outside of our home and both jobs were completed by them with efficiency and expertise, Very pleased with their work.

Following repairs carried out by Prestwood to our existing original tiled roof and the fact that this roof was over 85 years old, John Smith and ourselves agreed the roof needed complete refurbishment. This work was carried out over 3 weeks involving new breathable membrane, batons and tiles plus new facias and guttering and also carried out was a reroof of the porch and front of garage due to leakage. The lads were very efficient and professional and the site was left clean and tidy and we were extremely satisfied with the work carried out

We had an immediate response to our request for an estimate and work started the next day. Workmen were always polite, personable and on task. We are very happy with the company and all work carried out.

I contacted John initially as we had suffered, after recent heavy rainfall, with badly leaking guttering and a leak around breather pipe on the roof. I also asked if it would be possible to clean the moss off the existing tiles and replace any missing tiles on the main part of the house. Within a day he had put in a temporary fix around the breather to make us watertight, and within a couple of days the guttering was replaced. Unfortunately the tiles on the roof (circa 50 years old) proved extremely brittle, and after discussions we agreed the best course of action was to fit new breathable liners, battens and tiles. This involved scaffolding around the house (done the following day) and then working around the weather window to remove the existing tiles and commence the work. It was finished, on time, and on budget, and to a high standard, and Johns crews were always courteous, friendly and tidy in their work. Would recommend.
