Excellent Painters / Decorators
Rob and his team redecorated our entire house while we were away, they did a top quality job and we are really happy with the work. The attention to detail is excellent and the quality of the paintwork is outstanding (e.g not a single drip / run to be seen on wooden bannisters). Great service from Rob and the team
Rob and the team were excellent throughout, from providing the quote, keeping updated on dates and availability, then getting the painting of external windows done. Filled properly with three coats applied, they were all respectful to neighbours, put mats to protect carpets in the house, and got on with the work efficiently and effectively. Recommended!

Superb workmanship by a very approachable and professional painter and decorator
Rob, from R Read Decorators, was initially requested to paint a purpose-built media wall and skirting board then paper either side of the media wall. Rob discussed his availability, paint colour options and provided us with a comprehensive quotation, which we considered very competitive, within a couple of days. After we accepted the quote we decided that we would like coving fitted and painted above the media wall and Rob was extremely accommodating when we approached him to also perform this work and he went at lengths to ensure the coving matched what was already installed in the room. Overall, Rob was very communicative, extremely reliable, tidy, hard-working and provided options for what could be done throughout the whole process. We are delighted with the outcome of his work and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

A brilliant finished result
The decorators arrived promptly on the day which was agreed upon after an initial delay. They worked extremely efficiently and skillfully to decorate a three-floor hall, landing and two staircases. The top-floor staircase was very high and we were especially pleased with the cleaning and painting in such a difficult area. Every day the floors were cleaned and tidied and paint and equipment stored away. The decorators were very helpful and polite and repaired water damage in an adjoining room as well as on the landing and changed a door handle. The finished results are brilliant. Thank you. We would thoroughly recommend this company.

High standards and efficiency.
On this, our second contract, Rob decorated our Sitting Room. He and his team arrived as scheduled and promptly organised the room and started the work. He and his team are friendly, arrive on time every day and do a solid day’s work. They inspire confidence by their attention to detail. I am always impressed by how efficiently Rob manages estimating, carrying through the work, and leaving the area clean and tidy. All within the agreed estimate. First rate interior decorators
We trusted Rob to redecorate the whole inside of our family house. It was trust well placed - he and his team did a wonderful job and it was a pleasure to have them around. Rob and his team arrived as planned and worked continuously until the job was completed
Rob and his team painted the outside of our house which had not been decorated for many years. They spent time preparing the wood and filling any rotten areas of wood (house is Edwardian) They were all great guys who worked tirelessly and professionally, and have a pride in their work. We are absolutely thrilled with the transformation and are getting them back to paint indoor windows. The work was completed within the budget of the quote and is very reasonable. We are delighted.

Outside house painting
Robert and his team have just completed painting the outside of my house. The work is done to a very high standard. Beautifully renovated bedroom and kitchen-diner
Only a couple of weeks after initial survey and estimate, this popular company contacted us with a start-date. Rob Read and Team arrived promptly first thing each morning and worked thoroughly and efficiently throughout, including tidy removal and replacement of fittings. The quality and appearance of their work is superb and fairly priced. Our kitchen-diner and bedroom look brand new, renovated. Surfaces were respectfully protected and carefully cleared up at the end of each day. Recommended by our now retired trusted decorator, these workers are consistently pleasant and approachable and genuinely professional. Based on Rob and Team's excellent work, in the New Year, we will definitely ask R Read Decorators to return and decorate our house.

Always arrived on time and started work promptly, very polite and trustworthy. Moved furniture back each evening and removed stair rail, curtain rails etc which was a huge bonus as I live alone.
