Accessible wetroom/bathroom and Kitchen
We are absolutely delighted with a recently completed project carried out by Roger and his team – delivered on time and within budget. And we want to thank him for scheduling us quickly in January 2026 as we needed the conversion doing as quickly as possible. The project involved the relocation of our kitchen and creating a new ground floor wheelchair accessible wetroom/bathroom – quite a challenge with all the new plumbing, electrics, replastering, joinery, tiling etc. Nothing was too difficult for the team – they excelled at problem solving and explained options at every stage. The team were professional and highly skilled, always arrived on time and worked hard all day, were good communicators and importantly listened to me when I explained exactly what I wanted to achieve. We now have a beautiful and functional new space – it is also accessible for someone with mobility issues but importantly the new kitchen and wetroom are gorgeous! Thank you to Roger and team: Scott, Lee, Darren, Max, Stuart and Joe. We were so pleased with the work we also commissioned them to replace our very ageing boiler. Highly recommended!

Bathroom refurbishment
Roger and his team completed a full bathroom refurbishment for us. He arranged a quick initial visit, referred us to his preferred retailer, and we were able to arrange a design visit that weekend. A quote was produced where we reviewed the work required, quote was revised and agreed. The work started within 2-3weeks and was completed within 10 days of starting. The team were friendly, helpful, arrived when they said they were coming and completed the work to a really high standard, keeping us informed through the whole process. They were clean and tidy, leaving the job each day in a manageable state. So pleased with the final result, it is 100% improvement on what we had. I completed the painting and decorating myself to reduce the cost a little, looking forward to enjoying our new bathroom for years to come.

Small job but done well.
I recently called RSHB with a request for them to swap our dripping kitchen taps. This was arranged promptly and the guys who did the work were friendly, considerate about working in our home and even found an internal stop tap in the house which we didn't know we had. Based on this experience I would certainly use them again.

Professional and timely
All parties involved help make the replacement of the boiler as painless as possible. Despite some wet weather, Lee, Joe and Scott worked tirelessly to complete the job in a very timely manner. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I would recommend them.

Boiler Replacement
Having previously sorted central heating problems for us, we contacted Roger when the boiler kept loosing pressure. A leaking heat exchanger was diagnosed and in view of its age it was decided to replace the boiler and flue. The work was scheduled to take 2 days but was being carried out during cold and wet weather. Joe and Lee worked tirelessly to ensure that we had heat available by the first evening, completing the installation the following day. They were friendly, helpful and very tidy. We were kept informed at every stage and would not hesitate to recommend the firm.

Urgent Boiler Replacement
The annual boiler service from RS Heating & Building found that it had finally given up after 10+ years of maintenance & support from the firm. They delivered and installed a new boiler within 3 days during the busy winter period. Every member of the team involved - front desk, service engineer, installation team, & director were professional, friendly, and clear in answering any questions we had. Another excellent job done
It was a pleasure again to have Lee and Scott come and complete the replacement of our toilet and basin in our bathroom. This is the third time they have been to complete three different jobs, and as always, they were prompt, efficient, and a good team.

Modernisation of basement
I would have no hesitation RSHB following the completion of the work they have undertaken on our behalf. Our basement was in desperate need of an overhaul, with the ceiling having gradually collapsed over the years, meaning a new ceiling was required, walls plastering, replacement of cupboards, window, door, sink etc. RSHB's quote was reasonable and the proposals for what they would do and how they would approach all seemed sensible. They coordinated a number of trades, including plasterer, builder, joiner, and plumber. In addition to this we added new requirements as we went along - including electrical works. Each additional requirement was met positively and with very reasonable additional prices, which was really appreciated. All of the RSHB team were great (Thank you Scott, Max, Joe, Pete and Roger) and a pleasure to have in the house, keeping us informed throughout with what they were doing and seeking confirmation we were happy with what they were doing. I would have no hesitation in using them again and recommending them to others.

Bathroom refurbishment
I have been very pleased with the whole process of my bathroom refurbishment. Roger responded promptly to my initial enquiry and visited to discuss my requirements. I didn't have to wait too long for the work to start and am very pleased with the finished bathroom. The work involved removing a bath and a shower cubicle, then installing a walk in shower and some retiling. It is fabulous and I love it!

Great service
We had very prompt and courteous service from RS. Their engineer visited and diagnosed our fault without delay and they gave a competitive quote for a new boiler the same day. We were happy to go with a local company who clearly valued our business and gave excellent customer service. The fitters were equally professional and did a good job taking care in our property. New boiler installation
From first contact Roger and the team were very professional. A swift response and a detailed quote with an explanation of all our options. The install team Jo and Lee were on time, courteous and left a nice tidy job. They also explained how the system works and left all the paper work completed. Domestic electrical work
We have now used R S Heating and Building twice and we think they are an excellent company to deal with. On the first occasion we asked them to replace damaged ceilings and replace light fittings. On the second occasion it was electrical work only. They are incredibly prompt and reliable in all communications/admin and in our experience the professionals they work with are outstanding. The latter offer trustworthy, reliable advice and the completed work is of very high quality; in fact on both occasions they needed to rectify faulty or inferior workmanship carried out by other companies/individuals. Very pleased.

Boiler Replacement
Contacted Roger after our boiler failed, we'd already decided on a replacement boiler as the original was quite old. Very prompt response and had the new boiler in place within a few days, fitters were very professional and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.
