Ralph Kent is an RIBA chartered architect with a studio in Lymington, Hampshire, on the edge of the New Forest National Park. The practice is design-led and undertakes a range of commissions across Southern England & London - ranging from small domestic extensions to new-build one-off private dwellings and small-scale residential developments. RK/a has a particular specialism for extensive refurbishment & remodelling and enjoys the challenge of unlocking the full renovation potential of a building or site. The studio offers a full range of architectural services across all RIBA Stages of Work, from feasibility studies to planning applications, Buildings Regs drawings and full working drawing packages. Prior to setting up his practice in 2018, Ralph Kent was a project architect at multiple RIBA-award winning John Pardey Architects, where he worked for eight years. There he was project architect for schemes ranging from small pavilion garden extensions, to a successful paragraph 55 planning application for a ‘super-home’ near Godalming, along with a number of large-scale residential developments.
