“Turned up on time carried out the job neat and tidy”
“Loose gable dry verge piece at junction with eaves due to high winds. Mark the roofer was prompt, efficient, explained exactly what needed done and did same. Also checked my existing timber roof batten to be fixed to and confirmed it was in good order. Getting to the problem at 1st floor level was not easy due to width of gable between properties and the fact a shed at ground level was immediately below. Mark has a 'will do' as opposed to 'can't do' attitude when faced with a problem. In addition to putting in a new mechanical fixing longer than the one that failed, he also used a mastic which could be applied at low temperatures as a secondary fixing. Having travelled up from Edinburgh and back I thought the quote was a market price. As a pensioner I no longer have the worry about a potential roof leak over the festive holidays when it would be difficult to find a tradesperson.”

Prompt and effective repair.
On time no fuss just got on with job
The fence was completed in the dark and as I could not inspect the quality of the work I refused to pay the final £100 until the next day but Mr Hendry from Taylor Made Roofing and Building went into a rage and started to break and remove the fence boards that I had already paid for and I was in so much fear for my safety that I had retreat in to my house and call the police. since he left my job I have had abusive text messages and I am only glad the job was not inside my home or I am not sure what would have happened. After viewing the remains of the fence I would not have paid the balance as fence posts were not secured and not up to an expectable stanard. BEWARE OF EMPLYING THIS COMPANY
Had my roof and gutters cleaned, pri or to engaging this firm to repoint my ridge tiles, Work undertaken on a Sunday, despite contractor being aware of heavy rain being forcast. Rain came, and sections of the pointing mortar ended up in the guttering, leaving unsightly cement stains, accross the roof. After complaint to this site, contactor returned and repointed the damaged sections. However, the roof stains remain, and my gutters are now full of hardend mortar, and to think I paid 330 pounds for the privalage.
The work was carried out although I suspect I was overcharged. He also promised to send me photographs of the job before and after, but they have not materialised neither has the invoice he promised.
