Excellent Experience

I found Red Box after an internet search and contacted them early in January about a new kitchen. Barny came to see us on Weds 8 January and we talked about getting a Howden's Kitchen. Red Box said they would provide a builder and supervise him, so I guess they are building contractors. They said they get a builder to us in a week or two. As soon as we agreed terms, they found a builder to start within a week. We were amazed that they removed our entire kitchen in one day, organising the removal and disposal of everything. Our builder Mariush (AKA Mario) was excellent. He was especially good at creative solutions for minor problems. Every so often a representative from Red Box came by to make sure he was still on the job. Our new kitchen took 3 weeks from beginning to end and was in before the end of February. One or two kitchen components were left over but Howden's picked them up and Red Box gave us an immediate refund. All in all both companies were a pleasure to work with. We couldn't be happier.

RedBox work remodelling first floor living space

RedBox have recently completed a remodelling of our first floor living area, including preparation for installation of a new Roundhouse kitchen - indeed they were introduced to us by Roundhouse. RedBox did a thoroughly professional job, including all aspects of the required work from plumbing and electrics through to final decorating, and we would highly recommend. Most impressively, they acted as very effective project managers, ensuring that deadlines were met and that the individual trades interacted in a logical and efficient manner - this was especially helpful to us as we were unable to be onsite for much of the time, but they kept us fully informed and liaised with us for all the essential decisions. Where we needed specialist services (eg floor restoration), they sourced and engaged appropriate companies. A very competent team and delightful to work with.

Fantastic workmanship and customer service!

I had a completely positive experience with Red Box from start to finish. Excellent responsiveness when I first submitted an enquiry and then received a very helpful first visit where plans were sketched out and I was pointed in the direction of the equally excellent Bathroom Discount Centre for my sanitary ware and bathroom design. Once the plan and design was agreed on and materials ordered, work was able to commence very promptly and I was introduced to a project manager (Alex Jones) and builder (Michal). Alex's communication was excellent and I would receive almost daily emails with progress updates and requests for instructions. On a couple of occasions the plans had to change slightly (because of things that were uncovered on strip out) and these were worked through helpfully and with an eye on budget. Michal (the builder) was absolutely brilliant. His attention to detail was incredible and nothing was too much trouble for him. If I needed more time to decide upon something / make sure I was happy with a decision / alteration, he would always reassure me that it was never worth rushing and that he wanted the final outcome to be perfect. He worked extremely hard and had a full array of skills such that he could conduct most of the work himself. He was clean and tidy and polite and was a pleasure to have working for us. Costs increased slightly throughout the project but this was unforeseen and I am happy with the finish for the price paid. Highly recommended!!

Kitchen and removing load bearing wall

We have just used Red Box to remodel the downstairs of our house. This involved preparing for the installation of a new kitchen, remodelling the utility room and punching a hole through a load bearing wall. They were recommended to us by Roundhouse kitchens. The project was completed on time and on budget. The Red Box team were thoroughly professional at all times and have been a pleasure to deal with. The building site was always left in a very tidy condition (unusual in our prior experience) and the team were always very courteous. Have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in South West London.

Kitchen and utility room

We have just used Red Box for the first time to remodel our kitchen which involved the formation of an archway to an adjacent room and the creation of a utility room. Red Box were very pleasant to deal with and we are very pleased with the end result. The project took a little longer than anticipated but in the grand scheme of things this was not a problem.

Great work, on time and on budget

It was a pleasure to deal with Red Box for a partial refurbishment of our 3-bed flat. They were meticulous in noting down our requirements, and provided helpful professional advice. They then carried out the work exactly on time and on budget. The team were friendly, polite and professional. The work was carried out to a high standard and there was clear communication throughout, any time a choice or decision had to be made. I have no hesitation at all to recommend Red Box, and would gladly issue them again.

REBUILDING A CONSERVATORY

We used Red Box several years ago when our ceiling collapsed. It was a difficult and dangerous job to replace (falling loose bricks), which they dealt with very well. Therefore, when our conservatory which had rotted away in places needed to be renovated, we turned straight away to Red Box. The employee Martin did an excellent job. He replaced the door, door lock, door frame, wall panels, supports, guttering and repainted the whole with several coats. He was punctual, hard working and very friendly. The conservatory now looks very smart and we are very pleased.

Perfect service

The decoration of the sitting room was done on time with no fuss and included furniture removal which was replaced without my being there in its exact position. room looks lovely and is much admired. Timing perfect for me and price reasonable and not exceeded. Decorator extremely nice and helpful.

Notting Hill Flat

I have just used Red Box for the first time and I have been very impressed. I had a very tight deadline to create a new stud wall and door; replace the front door and investigate a leak through the ceiling. We had a window of around two weeks before the new tenants arrived and I thought it would be impossible to get the work finished, but Red Box managed the job to an excellent standard and met the deadline. I would have no problem recommending them to anyone and I intend to use Red Box for my next project.

Efficient and timely

Electrical, plumbing and flooring work carried out as part of a new kitchen installation, plus demolishing and disposing of the old kitchen. Despite the complexities of the job, the work was carried out effectively and on time by friendly, skilled workers. Very happy.

Top Quality Job & Fantastic Team

The Red Box team did a fantastic job doing a range of maintenance and repair jobs in my flat and replacing my front fence – they were highly professional at all times. They took great care in their work, were always tidy, friendly and the finished work was of the highest quality. They worked efficiently and were always on time – they wouldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. I highly recommend Red Box and would definitely work with them again

Remodel a bathroom

The job consisted in removing bath, wc, basin, old tiling, taps and shower controls, and flooring from the room before installing new sanitary ware, new Matki shower enclosure with new shower fittings, new tiling, and new engineered oak flooring with underfloor heating. The job's difficulty was compounded by the fact that the room was on the top floor of our 3 story house, and all items for removal and installation had to be carried carefully past a very pale-coloured wall paper covering the entire stairway. The overall performance of Redbox was very good indeed. This included: Helping with design details, before and during the project Planning the work out before starting Fitting protective coverings to carpet, sealing up spare rooms to avoid dust entering, and generally being fairly tidy whilst working Quality of work carried out Coping well with adjustments to the specification required during the project Being easy to deal with, not making excessive noise Maintaining good and useful contact throughout the works Working continuously on the job so as to minimise overall elapsed time Tidying up at the end The only things that were not completed as well as I would have liked were a couple of the detailed elements of the finishing off. But finishing off jobs with 100% quality control is notoriously difficult, even for the best firms.

Excellence

Red Box did a superb job of replacing my bath with a walk-in shower. Everything was done on time and on budget. Also they were most pleasant people to deal with. I feel deeply grateful to them.

Thanks to Quinn and his team for renovating a very tired London flat. Works included underfloor heating, new wooden floors, wiring update, new kitchen and painting throughout. Great job. Would highly recommend and use again.

Very Professional and Great Quality

Red Box recently replaced the ceiling in my sitting room, fixed the leak which had caused the damage to the ceiling, replastered two walls and decorated the room. The whole job was managed very professionally and the work done by Martin and his crew was of excellent quality. They all worked incredibly hard, cleaned up each day and were very pleasant to deal with. I would definitely use Red Box again and would highly recommend them.
