Reigate Glass

Callum appears to be quite the con man. We requested a new window supply for myself to fit. He convinced us it would be in our interest to have a refurb instead restoring the function of our broken hinge. They insisted on changing the glass before addressing the true problem (the broken hinge). Unable to source the hinges they have left us with a window that still does not open at the expense of £400 and is adamant that this is what we requested. Claiming the hinge repair was a 'free extra' when really it was our only issue. Poor workmanship also on silicone used after seals unavailiable

I didn't have a great experience with Callum at Reigate Glass, typified by his most recent conduct of blocking communication once I asked to submit a complaint (he sent a £50 "refund" and said he wouldn't complete the touch ups he said he'd fix once he knew how many bits were not done). He failed to send people today (allegedly because someone was exposed to COVID, but that didn't stop them going to Maidstone first), then decided they wouldn’t return in the New Year to complete the touch-ups. This has blocked timelines for other jobs and has meant I now need to pay someone else to fix the work
