He gave a verbal estimate based on the information I supplied and then visited the following day to check some details in person and firm up his estimate to a quote, no price change. He was quite a lot more competitive than the other two quotes that I received. He was able to book us in 3 working days later for the installation. He called ahead with his eta, he was careful to communicate his plan, set expectations and give updates as he went along. He was all done by mid-afternoon. He tidied up after himself."
