R&J did our extension in 2022 + later kitchen floor / kitchen units replacement in 2025 in Hitchin - very happy with the service from end-to-end - honest and direct, and a friendly team. Creative solutions to any problems which came up, speedy once on site, and no real issues / surprises since - it's all solidly built. Even sorted out some awkward roof design problems which the architect left unsolved. Would recommend.
Our experience with R& J joinery Ltd was outstanding . They were always on time ,very polite and respectful and very tidy . We had a media wall done with tv and fireplace fitted , walls where plastered , painted with skirting put on. Only took 4 days like promised. Their workmanship is outstanding. Highly recommend and would definitely be using them again in the future. Carol .W
R&J are a great team. We had a media wall built from scratch in our new build and it looks miles better than I ever imagined. They are polite, friendly, hardworking and work with you to make sure you love the end product. There were some tweaks to make from the initial build (our fault - we asked for the tv to be too high!) and they were brilliant about lowering it. Would definitely use again and recommend to friends and family, thanks guys!
RJ Joinery managed the fit out for our commercial clinic which included the building of stud walls, suspended ceilings, electrics, bathroom refit, branding and more. The whole project was project managed professionally from start to finish with all tasks being done ahead of schedule to a very high standard. All the team were personable, friendly, highly skilled and their service was completely stress-free. The site was always well managed, safe and surprisingly tidy: nothing ever seemed too onerous. If you are thinking of using their services to go for it. You won't regret it.

The team were tidy, efficient, polite and helpful. They arrived on time every day and kept us informed at all times about progress. They have a very high work ethic and excellent workmanship. The results of the work completed are stunning. Would definitely use them again when needed and recommended them to friends ??

First off Ryan was great to deal with, he looked over the items purchased and ensured it was all correct making it a breeze for his team to fit. Secondly Reece is a superstar!!!! he was one of the nicest people I have met and nothing was too much. he was great with our big fluff-ball dog and he did a phenomenal job! Cannot recommend this business enough, great work, great prices and quick delivery on their work! i have told multiple people to use them for jobs as hanging doors is just one of the many jobs they do, so I will be using them again for sure. Thanks guys. Top Job!
I couldn't recommend R&J enough. They came round and spoke to us about what we wanted. Booked us in quickly and were a very reasonable price. The work was done efficiently and perfectly! We couldn't be happier with our new media wall!

We really recommend Jon and his team. Jon was brilliant at keeping in touch and letting us know the progress of our work, advising us at every stage. The work was kept to within our budget and they finished within their original timescale provided. The work was completed to an exceptionally high standard and we are extremely happy with the results. Jon removed our old kitchen and knocked down a wall to create a kitchen/diner. Jon then installed the new kitchen and flooring throughout the downstairs. Jon's team are polite and respectful, always leaving our property tidy at the end of each day. We will definitely use Jon and his team in the future when we require further work. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found R&J Building Services!
