“I had a laburnum tree in my front garden that one morning one third fell off, another third was unstable and the remaining held together with unknown strength. The damage revealed the trunk was rotten down to the base. I got several quotes but this is the only outfit that sent someone out to survey first and they supplied a proper written quote for this and two other trees (which I didn't act on). I was keen to get this done quickly because it bordered the pathway. On excepting they did the next job in the next (but one) day. Arrived on time & completed it in less that 1h.”
“Excellent service. Someone came out to do an initial assessment and from there I was provided a quote. Once I agreed to go ahead, the team were booked in for later in the week. They turned up on time and were really friendly and polite. They quickly got the tree down and tidied up the site completely - the only reason we could tell they had been was the lack of tree! A great experience and completely recommend.”
“Robinson Tree Services removed a holly tree from our front garden, and at the same time staked an errant tree that had not rooted successfully on a slope. They are a fantastic family company; we have used them for many years for jobs both very large and small. They have always been most professional; unfailingly efficient and tidy in their work. Pleasant and professional
I recently acquired a small back garden with a rowan tree that had grown very tall, to the extent that it was also having an impact on my neighbours. Nigel inspected the tree and recommended reducing the overall height by 1 or 2 metres, removing some suckers, and generally "tidying up" the canopy. He checked whether the garden was in a conservation area (it is), explaining that approval from the local council would therefore be required, but his company would apply for this on my behalf and, once it had been obtained, come back to me to agree a date for the work. He advised that the approval process normally took 6 weeks, but reassured me that this would still be within a suitable seasonal window for pruning. On the day a team of three arrived and made an excellent job of reducing the height while preserving an attractive shape, and the end result was spontaneously admired by a neighbour. The team not only cleared away the loppings carefully but also tidied up the paved area beneath the tree, and suggested that I take a photo of it for use as a reference point in coming years. When I sought advice about future maintenance, they recommended reviewing, and possibly requesting an inspection, every 2 or 3 years rather than annually, as over-pruning was likely to promote growth surges. I found them pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and with a genuine interest in and care for trees and warmly recommend them.

Great work
I was very impressed with how quickly the work was done. The conifer tree is not swamping the garden like it did, and I was pleased they got rid of as much of the Alban Way vines as they could reach. Just a pity the council wouldn't sort it out. As an aside, I was pleased the company considered the safety of their workers as the company moved my appointment to a time we all agreed on because of bad weather. I was also pleased with the cost of the work. The price matched their estimate and was considerably cheaper than the other quote I got.

Experts safely removed two dead tall Larch trees in tricky location
My elderly neighbour had two very tall larch trees that were dead, in a tight space amongst other trees, and with two fences and two glass buildings nearby. I contacted the company on her behalf. Quickly received an on-site survey and quote, which was explained in detail. Date booked. Unfortunately a key team member was sick that day, but the company was very quick to rearrange their schedule to minimise delay. On the day, the team arrived on time and spent a while discussing the safest approach to doing the work, and explaining it to me. They were clearly experts as the plan went very smoothly. No problems or damage, and the site left tidy. I can't praise them enough. I highly recommend them.

Faultless and speedy job.
Like many of us I have let our garden get a bit out of hand and needed a fair bit of tidying, reducing and pollarding. From job first enquiry to job site quote and job done took only 8 days. The team arrived on the stated time and were excellent with everything done as requested, advice given and all cleaned up and tidied afterwards. Even better it was all done at a reasonable cost. The guys are a credit to Robinsons and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Great job
Robinson tree services undertook work on three trees in our garden which involved completely taking down a huge Eucalyptus tree and reducing and shaping a Maple tree and a Hawthorn tree. From Nigel’s first visit where his knowledge and advice were invaluable, to the work that his amazing team did was, in my opinion, first class. They were friendly, reliable, quick and efficient, and after they were finished, tidied the area beautifully. I would highly recommend them. Thank you Robinsons Richard (Sandridge)

Very happy
I have tried to arrange a site visit for a quotation with several companies in my area without any of them bothering to answer my emails or phone calls. Robinsons were the exception. Tree Removal back garden and front garden
We needed to find a tree surgeon, that could help remove trees in back garden, and front for an insurance quote, from the initial call to the office to the work carried out, first class service, top quality work by a team of brilliant workers, they even left the garden tidier, that it was to start with, highly recommend Robinson Tree Service, will definitely use them in the future.

Very efficient
Nigel came and assessed the tree we needed pruning, sent a quote within a couple of days and I booked it in for a couple of weeks later. They turned up on time, carried out the work being very careful not to let anything fall into a particular neighbour's garden and then tidied up after themselves. Couldn't ask for more really and will definitely use them again.

Great work - fast and very professional
Had two large trees that were unfortunately growing too close to the house - Nigel came out very promptly - he discussed reducing them in a few stages - at the same time I mentioned that I had 4 apple trees that needed reducing/cutting back; and a very long and thick laurel hedge that had been left to its own devices for some time. He sent out 2 crews/teams who spent almost the whole day working very professionally - checking in with me at all stages to ensure I was happy. Very tidy work and very polite. I will definitely be asking his team to return - and would definitely recommend them.

Very Professional
Five men turned up early and got to work very diligently and professionally. Had two large trees removed from my back garden along with a number of other agreed shrub trimmings. The job was excellent on all fronts and the tasks agreed were carried out with precision and competence. Excellent work
Turned up early, which was great. Three men of various ages. Professional workmanship with all the equipment. Got to work quickly and within less than 2 hours 1 medium tree and one small tree cut down to a few feet, one large hedge reduced and another trimmed. No nonsense. Job done! Makes a change to deal with a reliable company after so much disappointment with others.

Thoroughly recommended
Following an inspection and a very reasonable quote quote by the owner of the business, three strong lads turned up on time and did an excellent and efficient job in taking out a tall overgrown hedge in my garden. They were polite and very hard working and did an equally good job of clearing up afterwards. They also gave useful advice on a couple of related matters. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
