We then had Dennis and his team back to complete the works which was done in a professional and timely manner. They even moped the floors afterwards! Our experience of this team has been excellent. The project was very well managed, we were kept informed of progress every step of the way and the work was completed on time. All the workmen were helpful, friendly and well informed. The quotation was realistic and at every stage of the way attention was prompt when needed.
Great job damp proofing part of kitchen and bathroom in rented property. Put in new fan and removed unwanted radiator. Cleaned up after. Professional and high quality. Will use again.
We contacted kelly from robinsons services after the tanking , done by another company, in our basement failed after 6 years. Kelly took time to explain to us, at each stage, what they would be doing and why. She made sure that the problems with the substandard and inadequate drainage were addressed fully. They took photos and videos at all stages and we felt confident in the work being done. The work was completed in the time frame expected and the quality of work exceeded our expectations.
Had a problem with a damp patch in the back room, they fixed the main cause (damaged chimney), put a new cap on it, took the interior wall back to the brick and replasterted the wall (immaculate). Would definitely get these again, they all knew what they were doing.
I hired this trader because of their perfect rating - sadly my experience contradicts it. They charged £199 but missed a dirty leak inside my wall that was infested with drain flies that only breed in sewage sludge. They sent a report blaming "overstocked cupboards" and tried to sell me a £4600 "tanking" job for brick walls even though mine are drywall. If I listened, I would have sealed sewage inside my home's structure, causing structural rot and health risks. When confronted, they claimed their survey report full of errors was just a "different perspective". They admitted in writing that I was due a full refund, but to date this hasn’t been received.

We had an excellent experience with Robinsons. Kelly was immensely helpful, informative and forthcoming throughout the process, she explained exactly what needed to be done and why, and allaying our concerns. Their work was thorough and prompt and they left the house in fine condition, particularly considering the upheaval it entailed.
I contacted robinsons earlier this year because the dining room had rising damp on several walls. Dennis came at the agreed time and recommended a suitable course of action and explained the process required in detail. He was very knowledgeable, and the quote was reasonable, so I gave him the job. The work was completed across several days, as the process required it, and to a high standard, and the walls are now free from damp and look great after he replastered them. Also, Dennis a friendly, polite guy, and communicated in a timely manner, which made the experience of using this company much easier. I also received a guarantee for the damp proofing for added peace of mind. So, thank you,
I asked Dennis from Robinsons to carry out a damp report as it was required by my lender. He came back with an extremely detailed and thorough report. You can tell a great deal of effort and passion went into producing it. I later called him to better understand what work would be needed to address the issues identified, and his experience and clarity stood out immediately. Dennis clearly knows what he's doing and genuinely cares about providing value.
I just want to thank the team for doing such a great job of bring our property back to life , it was an old property and very very damp , now, it look warm cosy and clean you were all very polite and nothing was too much trouble. I will highly recommend you. A Big Thank You to you all.
Kelly was Excellent from the start to the end. Would recommend them to anyone with damp issues. The guys carrying out the work were superb! I prepared myself for mess and dust but there was none at all. They left the room looking exactly how it was before they came, apart from the wall they had sorted :) I will definitely use them again, should I need too.
