Roofline & Guttering

Awful experience. Trader demanded money up front - mid September, and has so far only done half the job, and caused damage to my property by leaving a roof ladder on the roof during a storm, which was blown off - could have killed someone - and looks to have caused damage to a window sill. I still have 2 roof tiles not replaced, guttering not fitted properly and leaking, front guttering not cleaned, half the roof (front) not cleaned, and the flat roof and guttering still not done. Trader has not responded to texts, and ignored request for repayment of money.

Absolute Scammers, his name is John Keenan not Jeff and his son Tommy! Was quoted for gutter replacement and talked into having small section of roof replaced above my kitchen. Paid a deposit, they came the next day and took all my gutters off which they never replaced. Replaced roof which is worse now than before, it’s not even straight! They did this using a step ladder! Their invoice is dodgy, the company reg is none existent. How they do this to people and have passed Checkatrade checks is beyond me! Luckily I have found a trustworthy roofer to fix and finish their job!

Jeffery and his team showed up to resolve a blocked gutter. Completed the work and advised me the entire roof needed doing, asked for a quote was given £4,500 w/ a £1,500 deposit. Asked him to give me sometime to research and claimed he had already bought materials and scaffolding would be erected the day after. I stupidly, gave him this deposit and lost all contact with him. A few days later found that my exterior wall was soaked because he somehow damaged two tiles allowing water to leak into loft and travel down the exterior wall. Had to pay for remedial repairs from a local tradesmen.
