Work was to a good standard but had a significant problem with a firepit which cracked badly when used. Scott Hadley made a number of promises to fix the problem but never did. He texted me this morning (after more than a year of chasing) to say that he wasn't going to do the repairs as he had just ceased trading and which meant: " I cannot do anything". People can get into trouble for reasons beyond their control. I don't judge him on that but he had more than a year to sort this out which makes me think he never intended to do so.

Decking foundation sinking badly and the decking needs taking up and the foundations re done properly. Scott has agreed to 'do whatever is necessary' but the agreed date for the remedial work to be done passed five months ago.
Impressed by the quality of the block paved porous driveway - especially improvements to the levels involved on a two-way sloping site. Understood and correctly interpreted my brief for the lard landscaping to the front garden: re-contouring the sloping site, loose terracing using Purbeck rockery stone, laying of screed surface all done well. Fostered a good working relationship with my neighbours - ensuring that they were not unduly inconvenienced by the works.
