We needed a gas cowl fitted to our chimney as the previous one had come off in a storm. We got a few quotes and Samson was the most responsive to our request and was reasonably priced. He came out and gave us options before we agreed on what to go forward with. The service was prompt and he provided photos from the roof so we could see the completed work. I would happily use Samson again.
A very polite and trustworthy person who was knowledgable and didn’t want to overcharge for work not required. Will be using for all my future work!
Turned up on time, got the job done & didn’t leave any mess. Will definitely be using again 👍
Samsung Sweeps came out shortly after asking, fitting me in between two other clients as I was worried that my chimney was not cleaned properly 6 months previously. I was correct, there was a huge amount of soot on the flue pipe and in the lining. The job was completed within the time he said, and cleaned up afterwards well (better than I do sometimes). I would heartedly recommend him if work is needed, he even contacted me afterwards to ensure I was happy with the result.... I was ! 👍💯😁

Samson Sweep swept my chimney and I was very impressed with the quality and efficiency of the work, the honest appraisal of exactly what needed doing (and what didn’t), and even gave me advice on use of my wood burner which has helped a lot. Would recommend and use again! Thank you.

Rang late Saturday, and he came out early Sunday. Remove bird stuck in chimney. Very careful not to scare or harm the bird. Job well done. Very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend Samson to anyone in need of chimney cleaning or works.

I am so pleased to have found Samson Sweep & would highly recommend Samson to anyone in need of chimney cleaning or works. After removing some 8 black sacks works of bird nests on my long neglected chimney which was used as a focal point only, he advised without any hard sell, a proper cowl instead of chicken wire would probably be more beneficial. He then emailed me details of various cowls to chose from, which he then ordered & fitted a few days later once he had received it. Samson is a very friendly & approachable chap, happy to answer any questions & give advice. He kept in contact regarding his ETA, work was done promptly at a very reasonable cost & everywhere was left clean & tidy
I recently had the pleasure of hiring Samson Sweeps for a chimney sweep for a very impacted chimney, and I am thoroughly impressed with his service. Our chimney has been blocked and we were unaware of the situation when having building work done and needed the chimney swept quickly- after speaking to Sam he swept the chimney that afternoon. Sam was incredibly friendly and made sure to answer all my questions, explaining the process in detail and offering helpful tips on chimney maintenance. He was efficient, completing the job quickly without cutting any corners, and my chimney looks spotless! It’s rare to find such a professional and personable service, and I would highly recommend Samson Sweeps to anyone in need of chimney cleaning.
Samson sweep has been very professional , insightful and very helpful. He is clearly passionate and has lots of expertise in and around chimneys, flues, cowls and their design . Samson cleaned our chimney. We then hired him again to repair our fire door which had been badly damaged and was filthy from years of neglect. He is also really responsive via text and happy to share his knowledge. Samson is currently advising me about a potential cowl issue.
From the first point of contact to completing work Samson Sweeps were punctual, Clean, tidy, upfront and honest with pricing and completed the job on time and having done a fantastic job leaving the area clean and tidy. Would highly recommend.
