I couldn't give zero stars. I think a picture paints a thousand words....roof had to be completely re-done by another contractor, that was after additional payment (thousands) was demanded by Secure Roofing to fix a leak that was as a result of their work. Flashing was not replaced (see pic), broken tiles reused (see pic). Where new tiles were used, some didn't even connect into the existing tiles (see pic). Lastly, there is daylight visible through the membrane (see pic). Once payment was taken, requests to come and remediate were ignored resulting in legal action. Use at your own risk.

A big re-roof must meet building regulations; CompetentRoofer (the Government-authorised NFRC scheme) registers roofers who can self-certify that, and vets and inspects them at least twice a year. Check they're on it before you hire.

Never agree to roof work from a cold-caller at your door or an unsolicited 'we noticed your roof' note. That is the classic roofing scam.
Get a written quote that itemises access (scaffolding or a tower), the exact materials, and the workmanship guarantee, not a vague day rate.
Be wary of demands for a large cash deposit; agree staged payments against work you can actually see completed.
