Barney and the team did a superb job from start to finish, from taking up the old concrete slabs, repointing some brickwork, then laying our new patio - tiles to the side and Indian sandstone to the rear. I can’t fault the job in any way and would recommend them to anyone.

This company has done a number of driveways, paths and patios in our area and their work is always excellent. Barney and his team are extremely professional, polite and hard working. They take a pride in a their work. They arrive early and work long days and completed our patio and many paths around our house and garage in just 6 days. Communication with Barney and the team was excellent as there were several challenges regarding steps and misaligned grids (that they straightened) and wonky walls around our property that they had to deal with. We asked Select to remove our 25 year old block paving and effectively replace in a similar format. Barney talked us through the options but let us decide what we wanted to proceed with and the work was completed ahead of time, on cost and very satisfactorily. His team were very hard working and courteous and took a clear pride in their work. The whole job was completed in four and a half days, ahead of schedule. Most of the time was spent in preparation and, having had a full Manchester rainfall since completion, the drive has passed that test! We would have no hesitation in recommending using Barney and his team at Select.

Barney and his team have just finished relaying our driveway (SMA tarmac with block edging) and the result is excellent. From beginning to end the team worked very hard and nothing was too much trouble. Communication before and during the work was great. Attention to detail was first class and we were consulted throughout on design, choice of materials and finishing touches. They left the site very clean and tidy and leave a driveway that has already been admired by some of our neighbours! Very much recommended.
