Very Happy Customer! (again)

Emergency call to find & fix faulty circuit

so helpful
Stefan has done a few electrical jobs in our house over a period of time, including installing an new fuse board. When I rang him on a Saturday morning, with a fuse related problem, he showed no hesitation in coming over to fix it. He solved the problem quickly and left us very relieved to have power restored to our appliances and broadband.
Highly Recommended!
I am selling my late brother in laws house in Surrey and the buyer had raised questions about the state of the wiring (my brother in law was an engineer who had made many dubious additions and alterations). Stefan did a full test of the house plus all the (extensive) work necessary to bring it back to current regulations including replacing the consumer unit. The standard of work was superb and very reasonably priced. Equally importantly, he did the work in a very short time frame (the sale hinges on this being done) and kept me fully informed at every stage. I cannot recommend Sherwood electrical highly enough.

MoT of electrics and re-wiring house
Stefan came to carry out an MoT of the electrics in our 100 year + house. This flagged up a number of issues and we decided on a complete rewiring of the oldest part of the house. Stefan was friendly, communicative, and very professional. He talked us through all the work stage by stage and kept disruption in our house to a minimum. The house presented some unexpected challenges, which Stefan met with good humour and tenaciousness. More than happy to recommend Stefan and will use him in future.
Historic errors now rectified
Eight years ago, shortly after I arrived here, my late-Victorian house was subject to a once-in-several-decades whole-house renovation. Since then, however, problems with the electrical installation -- one of them hazardous -- have come to light. I was very pleased to have found my way to Sherwood Electrical as Stefan and Haydon proved to be excellent in every way. Their subject knowledge, customer-facing skills (including excellent communication with me before and during the work) and their on-site efficiency and friendliness were altogether admirable. I especially valued their willingness, indeed their eagerness, to talk me through the details of each element of the work. I am happy to recommend Sherwood Electrical Ltd without reservation. Why isn't life always like this?
Excellent work on my new kitchen
Stefan rewired my new kitchen and was extremely thorough and professional, completely putting my mind at ease. He did all lights and appliances as well as making sure the existing circuits were in good working order. I received an electrical installation certificate He was punctual and very accommodating which I was very grateful for. Above all else, we is a really friendly guy. I would highly recommend Stefan as he definitely provided me with an excellent service.
Great job, lovely, honest tradesmen
Our newly acquired, 200+ year old, previously bodged house needed a complete rewire. It was a very complicated job but Stefan and Haydon resolved and kept us informed of any complications as and when they occurred. Their knowledge and persistence is admirable and they were a pleasure to have in the house. They are honest, trustworthy and excellent at their jobs and I have no reservations in recommending them.
You won't regret using this trader
Stephan was brought in because of his diagnostic skills. One of the fuses in my new fuse box kept on tripping out and it wasn't clear why. He was able the identify the problem and devise a solution which required a partial rewire on the sockets in my kitchen and the first floor of my house. The work was scheduled to take 4 days and I was forewarned of the disruption which was helpful. Stephan and his enigmatic assistant Haydon arrived on time every day and carried out the work efficiently taking very few breaks. They moved all my furniture and my stuff ( I have a lot of stuff) out the way so that they could lift up the carpet to get to the floor boards and put everything back where it was when the work was completed. The are a very friendly and respectful pair and were happy to explain what they were doing when asked. Their timetabling was spot on.

Stefan works diligently and is thorough and reliable. His knowledge of electrics is excellent and he took me through the process with no trouble.
Excellent service
I feel very lucky to have found Stefan and his glamorous assistant, Haydon! I had a number of jobs that needed doing around the house- some electrical, some household fixes. They sorted everything on the list and were incredibly friendly and helpful to boot. They were also reasonably priced. I have no hesitation recommending them. They really took the hassle out of hiring someone to do the work.
Quick to respond and good job
Firstly the company came ASAP as I had very little electricity due to a fault. Job done in 2 hours and restored all power. Thank you Sherwood for a first class job. I would highly recommend this company for efficiency and promptness. Very friendly too. Thank you.
Professional Plumbing and cooker hood fitting
Stefan and Haydon were incredible. There is nothing they can't do between them! In one day they installed new piping for my saniflo which I had had troubles with for eight years and they also fitted a charcoal filter extractor fan in my kitchen. Their work was quick and they were a pleasure to meet. Stefan is coming back to fix the electrics and Haydon to fit a wardrobe and fix the outdoor fence and patio. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Electrical Work For New Kitchen
Stefan provided a excellent service. Fitting a new fuse box and dealing with the electrical work when fitting a new kitchen. Also came back on a weekend to complete the work as was not finished. I would recommend him for any electrical work needed and will use him again if required.

Extremely personable, reliable and professional
I needed a competent electrician, at extremely short notice, to install a socket in readiness for the installation of an integrated washing machine. I happily chanced upon Stefan in Which Trusted Traders and I'm very glad I did. Not many tradesmen would come out on a Saturday but Stefan was happy to do so. He duly arrived on time and completed what turned out to be a particularly tricky job with efficiency and humour. He also identified a serious fault in the previous wiring which he rectified. My wife and I were tremendously impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. We will not hesitate to use him again if the need arises and are more than happy to recommend him.
