“Fixed my bathroom - toilet and sink. I did receive an invoice when the work was done but didn't keep this. I thought the trader was extremely personable and professional. He did a very good job and was really clean and tidy.”

“In December 2023, we asked for a quote to line and insulate a cupboard in the eaves of a bedroom, as well as move appliances within our kitchen (move a dryer and install a dishwasher). We were happy with the quote (it was detailed and clear) and they came out the following week. The work was done to a very high standard (team were polite whilst in our home) and left the work area spotless. We were then sent the invoice and paid on completion of the work. Silverstag, had previously renovated our garage (in May 2023). The garage was in a state of disrepair and they remodelled this for us. Lining and insulating the walls and ceiling, rewiring (adding plug points and spot lights in the ceiling - also installing a separate box to isolate from the main unit within our home), new heaters, new windows and door and false front to replace the garage door itself. Painting and laying a carpet too. This was a much bigger job and it has transformed the space - we now use this part of our home every day as a home office and gym. I would recommend this company as they are clear on their pricing and schedule the work promptly once everything is agreed - their standard of work is very high. We have had joinery, plumbing and electrical work done and have been delighted with the results.”

Great service
I have contacted Silver Stag twice now to deal with issues in a rental property. Both times they have contacted me quickly, got in touch with the tenant for access and sorted the issue within a matter of hours. I was recommended the company by someone, and I will recommend them on to others. I will continue to use Silver Stag. Its refreshing to come across honest tradesmen who take pride in their work!

Excellent
Absolutely fantastic company. I have used their services several time for roofing, guttering and general handyman jobs. The team are reliable, friendly, and helpful from start to finish. Communication is excellent. The quality of the work is completed to a very high standard and everything is finished on time and at a great price. It’s hard to find people you can truly trust, but these guys exceeded expectations in every way. I would highly recommend them. Five stars all the way!

Trusted Traders
After a few negative experiences with local trades in the area I contacted Silver Stag for repairs to garden fencing and stairs. So far they have repaired a fence, rebuilt deck access and removed wet and rotten cladding to the raised decking. The standard of the work is excellent, its more than a repair, it looks better than when it was built. David the manager is clear and timely with the estimates and visited to check our requirements. They were making the garden safe for me and were careful to keep the site tidy to prevent falls which is crucial for me. During the work they checked that what was being done was suitable for me and made adjustments to improve my access. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent work, great value.
I used Silver Stag for house clearance including tidying an overgrown garden, some decorating, replacement uPVC door and boiler fix. All work was done to a brilliant standard, house looks brilliant. Overall really pleased with the service. Dave was great communicating throughout.

Exterior cladding replacement
I have no hesitation in recommending Silver Stag. Their work force showed high levels of skill and care during all of the job. Work site left clean and tidy at the end of each day and disruption to neighbours kept to a minimum.

Great company
So glad I found this company. Now used them 3 times for inside and outside work. Latest job was painting the garage, repairing the store door, mending and clearing gutters. Jobs executed to a high standard. Nothing was too much trouble for Gordon. Recommend highly.

Fencing/ridge slates garage/repair to brick wall
The aforementioned work from start to finish was trouble free and to an excellent standard. This was achieved by a good level of communication by Dave and the manual work which was performed by Gordon and his apprentice was faultless. THANKS GUYS.

Roof work
Silver Stag turned up on time. We’re really honest about what needed to be done to the roof. Took photos of the work they did so I could see it close up. Really neat and tidy in the job and very friendly and approachable. Good price for work done. Will be asking them to do work in bathroom too. Very highly recommended!

Great Job and Communication
We needed our bath resealed and damp plaster resurfaced and painted after a leak. Dave and team did everything exactly as we needed plus a few other minor fixes at the same time. The bathroom is solid now and the wall looks good again. Really great communication from Dave as we were away while job happened, kept us up to date as the job progressed. Would use again, thanks!

Got new windows installed just before winter, they went through my options with me, explained the ordering and installation process and when the day of fitting came around the guys got the work done quickly and without any mess left behind. Really impressed with them and would recommend to anyone
