Detailed reviews
Approx 125sqm of blockwork on a detached property. Disaster. This guy was booked in from two months ago and he’s just stopped communicating within 3 days of the start date. I’ve now got an open building with no roof on it while the gables were meant to get built up and I’ve got to start looking all over again, overall a very frustrating experience. Repointing Sadly had to go elsewhere for work to be undertaken.

Re pointing Simon was the only builder who responded to my post. He came to the house on a bank holiday and provided a reasonable quote soon after. He turned up as promised on the date we had agreed (that may not sound like much but anyone who has tried and failed to pin down a builder will know how important this kind of response is). Simon and employee completed the job in a day and to a good standard. Site was left clean and tidy. Simon left the excess sand and cement with us and advised on how to mix it for future minor pointing work. Simon is helpful as well as personable and we would certainly use him again. Brick built shed and greenhouse. Foundations done. The brickwork, with 5 Jack Arches, done to the required high standard. Very pleasant and helpful people to work with. Good at communicating. Good stuff.
stonework repairs reliable, quality, and a couple of nice blokes spot on will use again
Dry stone wall repairs I could not have found a more professional expert. Arrived early, the weather changed for the worse, but they then stayed until 7pm to finish the job. First class quality workmanship which also included me making a slight change which was done without question. I have already agreed my next job with Simon and would highly recommend him. Very reasonable prices, you will not be disappointed.
