Smart Home Charge

Ollie from Smart Home Charge fitted our Tesla Wall Connector. The whole job from start to finish was fantastic! The installation was very discrete and the area was cleared away perfectly after. He even spent time afterwards explaining how everything worked and was available for any questions I had. Can’t be faulted, thanks! 10/10

If anyone needs an EV charger installed these are the people to do it. Getting the quote was easy, quote was competitive, the ordering was easy (incl a refund of an optional extra I changed my mind on) booking teh install was hassle free and not a long wait and the communications well balanced (good info and not bombarded). On teh day teh installer was friendly, polite and respectful. He arrived on time, discussed options for the cable route and listened to my views rather than push what was easiest / cheapest for him. Work was efficiently done he communicated the short power off period and fitted us and when he was done he explained how it all worked and left the house neat and tidy. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat!!!

Found this company really easy to deal with. Ordering online was a fairly simple process. They were great at keeping me informed throughout the process. Installation was expertlydone on time and I my installer Ty was brilliant explaining as he went along and making sure I knew how it worked before he left. Couldn't have had a better experience.

Great service from start to finish. When we decided to purchase our EV we did the usual research for charging points. Smart Home Charge were recommended to us, and we couldn’t be happier. They aren’t the cheapest but you get what you pay for and it’s been worth the difference. The team in the office have been great at answering and dealing with queries that we’ve had and on the day of Installation, Ollie was excellent. He talked us through what he’d be doing how long it would take, suggested a better location and height for the unit to be placed. I’d thoroughly recommend them to anyone buying a EV charging unit.

I placed an order via the Ohme website. They asked me to complete an online survey, and then gave me a quote for £1,453.20, including £253.20 of additional works. I accepted the quote and paid them the money. The charger was delivered, and I phoned them to see when I could expect the install. They then asked if I had got the trench dug yet. The quotation I had accepted said nothing about that requirement, and I was relying on the Ohme website, which promises "All-in-one package” and "We take care of everything, so that you don’t have to”. So of course I said that I wasn’t prepared to go ahead if they weren’t prepared to do the work they’d quoted for, and to collect the charger that had been delivered. They booked DPD Local , and I waited in for the collection, which never came — instead the DPD tracking said "Your collection did not take place as the Pickup Point was closed”. Having gone to some inconvenience to let them recover a charger that should never have been delivered to me in the first place, I am not prepared to do so again. I am more than willing to make the charger available for collection, at a specific pre-arranged time that is convenient for me, or at their risk to leave it outside on the day of collection. Meanwhile, they still have my money.

We have had contact with many people at Smart Home Charge and all have been very good to deal with (at around the same time we had dealt with others doing equivalent work who we clearly thought we could not trust). Charlie, who was the electrician who came to do the work, is one of the very best people who have ever done work in our house. His manner was exceptionally pleasant and his work was very neat and he showed great care with everything he did. We would be very pleased to have Charlie do more work for us. Charlie was punctual.
