Professional and efficient

Craig and Joshua installed an EV Charger for us and completed other small electrical jobs around the house. Communication was great, very timely and quote was clear and detailed. Craig responded promptly to all communication and fitted us in straight away. I was very happy with the work they did, everything was left neat and tidy including where they had to dig a trench through the lawn. I would definitely recommend them and will be contacting them again when I have electrical jobs to do in future.

Fabulous !

Fabulous service, communication and installation. We had Craig install an EV charger - connected into the internet switch in the loft, and it was done really quickly and to a great standard.

Great work, I would highly recommend.

I contacted Smart-OHM for the first time.. if they could fit me a light fitting in my kitchen. The communication was fantastic they booked me in for a date that was suitable. Craig came on Wednesday 8/04/26 at the time stated.. He got on with the job quickly and professionally. I would recommend this company to anyone who need electrical work doing. I was delighted with the work and overall details.

Had a major wiring issue and needed a full rewire and new fittings. Took time to redesign the room to a new better look and got us up and running again very quickly. Found my new Electrician for all our future works!

What to check before you hire

Worth checking yourself
Always confirm credentials and quotes with the business directly before hiring.
Verify at the sourceCheck them yourself

Electrical work in homes in England & Wales should be done by a registered competent person who can self-certify it meets the Part P safety rules. Check they're on the official register.

Check the electrical register
In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations. Confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done. It is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
