Today, at 8am, Tom arrived to shorten the downpipe they had fitted at the back of the house. It was a minor adjustment but a necessary one to give us proper access to unblock the drain. When I phoned bossman Dave about this yesterday afternoon, he did what few other tradesman would do: accepted responsibility, got it sorted and refused to charge us.
