Supplied and installed a new kitchen, Very happy would recommend,

Paul levelled our concrete floors and replaced the skirting. He also filled in missing plaster when he noticed the gap behind the skirting which we appreciated. The communication was good and the job was completed quickly to a good standard. I would book Paul again in future.

Detailed reviews

Customer2.3 / 5 ·

Paul removed a wall which was load baring but told us was not. We found out that it was load baring after consulting an architect. If we had trusted Paul we would end up with a bowing ceiling and a house that was not up to building regulation standards. Whilst Paul did initially agree to come and visit, he didn't turn up and then the following day he apologised and said the earliest he could come to see was the next tuesday. due to time constraints we were forced to go with another builder who could fix the issues left by Paul. I would not recommend using Paul in the future.

This trade isn't licensed in the UK, so anyone can set up. TrustMark is the only Government-endorsed quality scheme for work in and around the home - check whether they're registered, or find a TrustMark-registered business.

Check the TrustMark register
Never pay a large deposit up front. Agree a staged payment schedule tied to completed milestones, and hold a small retention until snagging is done.
Get it in writing: an itemised quote with scope, materials, start and finish dates, and how any changes (variations) will be priced.
Be wary of a cash-only price or pressure to start tomorrow. Both are red flags for an unaccountable job.
