Please don’t. If your hob or any other electrical appliances is more than 5 years old just get a replacement. Looking to have it repaired Is a gamble. As if the engineer turns up and says it is beyond economic repair. You lose your £98. Poor decision making on my part as it felt like a scam. I have now ordered a hob, getting a tradesman to install £229 in total. In hindsight this is a better option. Better than gambling with a repair by this company. They do warn you at the start that the £98 is not refundable however, I wanted a quick turnaround, but it ended up being a waste of time and money. I suggested to them that I buy a new hob from them and they install it. Asked if they would consider a discount but they declined and quoted £350 plus the £98. £448 in total. Due to my experience, I would not recommend.
