It was quite a difficult job involving: - • the lifting of pavement bricks • the use of a manual-held jackhammer so as not to damage other underground pipes • the movement of shrubs and plants • the laying of a duct with a drawstring • excavation of a manhole to create sufficient space for the connection • construction of a concrete plinth for the box that houses the electricity meters • physical presence on-site to assist the Distribution Network Operator (“DNO”) on the date of the connection."
