“I’ve had a lot of plastering done by Steve over the last few years. Another ceiling done yesterday (still drying out in pic). Cannot fault his work. Steve has plastered my entire kitchen as well as most of my daughter’s house over the last 18 months! My son is lining up some work too! Wouldn’t consider using anyone else. Highly recommended. Really nice guy.”

“Steve came round at short notice to fix crumbling plasterboard that I noticed when moving a bookshelf. It was important the job was done quickly and well as my house was on the market to rent. Steve saw the issue and got to work immediately. Once the necessary prep was done he came back 2 days later once fully dry to complete the job. Looks as good as new now and perfectly suits my 300 year old property. Great to have a craftsman who takes pride in his work. Fully recommend Steve to anyone!”

Re-plastered water damaged ceiling. Excellent job done, clean and tidy and pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended!
This is the 2nd time I've used Steve and his team now, I was so impressed with the first room he did we asked him back to do a much bigger job of plastering our hallway, landing, stairs and child's bedroom. We needed quite a bit of work done including a new loft hatch built, a dropped ceiling and a new door to be fitted where a sliding one existed before. Being an old property there were various obstacles, but Steve always finds a way without compromising the quality he promised. Steve gave great advice throughout, ensuring the best value and quality of work for us as a customer. He's built an experienced and accomplished team who are punctual, friendly and above all highly skilled at the work they do. He also has a good range of contacts should you need other work done as part of your project (decorators, electricians etc). I'd recommend Steve any day for work you need and sure I'll be contacting him again in the future should I need work done.
Top quality work by Steve on a bedroom, have asked him back to do more rooms now. Reliable, professional and does a great job. Would happily recommend SR Plastering & Building to anyone who needs plastering done.

We asked Steve to plaster a bricked up external doorway and around a window and to box in and plaster some pipework in our kitchen, which is being renovated. Although our previous builder (who has had to stop work because of illness) did most of our other plastering, Steve showed us the difference between what a builder's plastering looks like to a professional, like Steve. The plastering he has done is like touching glass and doesn't need a single bit of rubbing down. Steve arrived on time, worked hard and did a very clean job. There was no dust to speak of and we are very impressed. So much so, we have asked Steve to come back and do further work for us. Steve is also great on communication, quotes arrive promptly and he quickly answers any questions and offers solutions when needed.
The two men were both very nice. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.
Huge thanks to Steve and Gary for the work they recently completed in our home. Steve's plastering is nothing short of exceptional and has been so each time we have asked him to do work for us. Gary followed up with some amazing painting in our hall and extension and he worked tirelessly to get the work completed while we were away. We were astounded at the high standard of work overall and would highly recommend both guys for their quality of work . They were a pleasure to have around and their sense of humour kept us laughing throughout their time in our home. A BIG thankyou to both of them. John, Heather and Hannah
