Flat roof repair in listed building
I was recommended to use Stace Roofing by a craftsman who had re-configured our listed building. He told me they were the only company he recommended, and he was right. The previous firm did an appalling job and the roof leaked twice afterwards, Stace came round, told me exactly what I needed to know, and did a job on time and with no nasty surprises. They turned up when they said they would they cleaned up afterwards and they've left me with an absolutely beautiful flat roof. I can't recommend them highly enough.

GRP flat roof & rooflight installation
We are undertaking a self build Eco home in the Derbyshire countryside which we have project managed ourselves without using a main contractor. Although not particularly local, we looked at Stace due to their customer feedback. Greg has been a great sounding block for us giving advice and support beyond what you could normally expect to receive from a contractor and the guys have done a first class job. When the 250kg triple glazed roof light was delayed it meant we had to alter the plans for getting it into position. The team just got on with the job and didn’t complain or try to increase costs. We have been so pleased with the support that we have used the guys for some other works we hadn’t originally planned to place with them. I would have no hesitation in recommending Stace Roofing as they produce a high quality finish and are a pleasure to work with. Thanks Greg and Team Stace..!

Repair compromised flat roof
We noticed the roof was soft in places. Stace did a drill investigation to find extensive rot and to confirm the original builders had not inserted a vapour control layer. Stace stripped back the whole roof down to the insulation, inserted a vapour control layer and replaced the roof. It looks like a new pin and we are 100% comfortable that we have a quality product that will last decades. The work was completed to the original quote and in the timescale agreed. Minor issues, when raised, were immediately resolved. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Dormer Roof repair.
Good communcation from the first call requesting a visit and estimate, to the final sign off from the job. Did take a little while to get the work booked in as I imagine winter is a busy season. Work completed quickly and professionally by a friendly team. Now leak free.

Top Quality Professionals
Stace replaced 2 flat roofs for me, one large and one small. Both GRP. The surveyor came quite quickly after my enquiry and I felt confident in his advice. The quote was very thorough - far more detailed than the other 3 quotes I got. In fact, I turned down the offer of a free repair from the original roof installation company (whose roof was failing) as I felt that Stace would do a far better job and I am not disappointed. The job was scheduled in a littler earlier than I expected, which given the time of year was great, and what was involved was fully discussed with me. Their scaffolders were communicative, turned up exactly as planned - AND took the scaffolding down as soon as the job was completed. Their roofers worked hard, knew their trade, were pleasant and very tidy. Supplies turned up just before they were needed and each stage of the work was meticulously photographed and approved by Greg Stace before proceeding to the next stage. Communication between the roofers onsite and Stace management was excellent and shared with me. There was an inevitable "older house" surprise which was quickly dealt with and caused no delays. You can just see that my new roofs are a far higher quality than my previous roofs (which were not cheap). The insulation used is to the highest standard and is already making a difference.

Great Professional Job - Extremely Pleased
Stace were called to repair the source of a leak that was causing an occasional damp patch in the corner of a bedroom ceiling. An initial attempt failed to solve the problem but Stace called back a few times without quibbling, and at their own expense, to try and correct it. Eventually, it was necessary to have Stace replace a section of roof, which appears to have has solved the problem. The team did an outstanding job. They took the time to mix and match existing and new tiles to minimise the visual impact of the repair work. The team were extremely courteous, easy to have around, and worked in often quite difficult conditions. Stace always made us feel important as a customer and Greg stayed in touch regularly and helped us through the process. Would we use Stace again, without doubt. Would we recommend Stace to anyone else, without hesitation.

Extremely professional company
I contacted Stace Roofing Ltd after several "roofing companies" failed to fix our leaking roof. From the very first contact, they have been extremely professional in all aspects of the work completed. After assessing the problem a clear quotation and detailed description of the work to be completed was issued within 24 hours. Once the work started it quickly became apparent extra work was needed, I was able to view photos of the problems and agreed to go ahead. The work, initially scheduled for 1-2 days, turned into a 4 day job but Stace Roofing ensured various teams were allocated to ensure there was no significant delay in completing the job. After paying the final invoice and the scaffolding was removed a few days later I noticed an issue with the fascia board, I reported this and within a couple of days, another team arrived to fix this remaining issue. At all times the teams on site were very polite and happy to explain progress, they tidied up and removed all debris before leaving. I thoroughly recommend using Stace Roofing Ltd. Great service, great team!
Used Stace following a recommendation and couldnt be happier! We had two sets of works, a chimney removal and a new flat roof and on both occasions the teams on site were punctual, friendly and knew what they were doing. Replacement of a flat roof
From first viewing the Stace website, the information available was most impressive, clear and honest. The arranged visit by Mr Stace was most helpful both agreeing on what was required, a price quoted which was less than expected. All went to plan as arranged with the scaffolding being put in place and work started the next day. The team carrying out the work were outstanding, completing the project on time including cleaning up and disposing of the rubbish. Ship shape and Bristol fashion
Explained what they thought was needed and then what they advised. Went into considerable detail to explain both the schedule of works but the science behind the process.
