The Cornish Carpenter

Good communication and work on the day (6 internal doors fitted) seemed fine. One door handle broke a few months later, however. We contacted The Cornish Carpenter who said he would charge us to return to look at the issue. We asked and paid a local carpenter to carry out the repair. In his opinion the handle had been fitted too tight originally, causing the internal mechanism to snap.

Great service from start to finish. The doors look lovely, the hardware is fitted well and very respectful of our home throughout. Good workmanship and a very professional attitude. The doors have made a big difference to the house and we’re really happy with the outcome.

We found Tim to be very professional and he far exceeded our expectations. He communicated clearly with me, and he was punctual. His work is meticulous and his craftsmanship is 5 star! My husband and I are thrilled with his work and highly recommend him. We will definitely be using him for future projects. I cannot recommend Tim highly enough. Plus his pricing is fair. When he did the installation he paid great attention to detail and cleaned up after himself. A job very well done!
